Jeep tour up the famous Old Stage Road to St Peters Dome View point
17 Mile (Down hill) bike ride from 9690' to the AOW bike depot on a historic railway bed.
Suitable for most abilities. The Route is mostly loose gravel and rock, awesome railroad tunnels and a paved road.
* If you are an experienced rider, you will consider this an intermediate adventure
* If you are low on experience but high on adventure, this will be an advanced ride
* If you have never ridden a bike before, this may not be the adventure for you

The tour offers great vistas of Colorado Springs, Cheyenne Canyon, and the Eastern plains of Colorado. The 17-mile ride starts at St. Peter’s Dome overlook and follows the Historic Gold Camp Road. The route is on an old railroad bed used for transporting gold at the turn of the century. We will descend on Mtn. E-Bikes through beautiful aspen and pine forests, old railroad tunnels, and rock formations that will take your breath away.

5.00What an experience we have a family and two of our grown children with us to enjoy the ride in the sites of the gold road and Cheyenne Canyon. Jesse and William our guides were amazing, so informative and conversational and pleasant to be around so caring as well even when I went slow. The bikes were amazing so much so that my husband might get one. I will definitely do this again.

5.00Gold Camp Road Bike Ride was the best day! My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and we will always remember this day. We rode with Marcel and Leo... we couldn't have asked for better guides than these two. I was a little nervous and hoped this ride wasn't above my ability, but with encouragement and positive reinforcement from both of them - I did it! I know that it is their job to be our guides but they went above and beyond and you can tell they LOVE their job! The ride itself is amazing- the views are incredible, the bikes are top quality and Marcel tells great stories and we learned so much about the area from him. You will not regret booking this tour.

5.00We had a great time with AOW! The staff and guides were great to work with, we had 2 adults and 2 boys, ages 12 and 14. The views from the trail were amazing. The guide took videos and shared with us. The whole family had a great time. Thank you AOW!
Great Personalized Ride

5.00Been wanting to do this ride for a few years. I always come out on a Sunday and schedule my ride on a Monday. It has always been only me reserving the ride and the minimum is two. So this year I sprung for the second rider so I could do this ride. And I'm glad I did. I had basically a personalized ride with no time schedule to follow other than to complete the ride within Adventure Out West's schedule. I'm 69, so I didn't expect to get through one of the very technical paths that went over the collapsed tunnel. But other than getting used to the softer places on the trail, all went well. I was originally going to use my mountain bike which is not an e-bike. But AOW convinced me to use one of their e-bikes and I'm glad I did. Made the ride a lot easier and enjoyable. We did a nice pace down the trail ...albeit, (a bit dusty in places as to be expected). I had a great time, nice scenery, the weather was great and my guides were excellent. I've also done the Pikes Peak ride which I also recommend.

5.00preacher gave us an amazing tour of the gold camp road! Very fun tour and insightful of the history of the mines. 10/10 would come back!
Best outdoor experience to enjoy views and have quite an amazing adventure..lots of smiles and laughs for sure

5.00A girlfriend and I, two women over 60 by the way...took the Gold Camp Mountain Biking adventure..we had the best time! Our guide was so helpful and seemed to enjoy the adventure as much as we did! It was a truly amazing experience for us..best ever! Will definitely do it again and recommend it to others!
