Thingvellir National Park
Few locations in the world provide a finer and clearer perspective of this vast geographic activity than Thingvellir National Park, home to one of the most amazing natural wonders in the world: tourists can observe the effects of two moving tectonic plates: the North American and Eurasian ones. The national park is frequently referred to as "The Galapagos of the North" because it is also home to Iceland's largest natural lake and is home to a wide variety of fish and bird species! Thingvellir, the location of the parliament's founding in 930 AD, is deeply ingrained in Icelandic national history. The translation of "Thingvellir" is "Parliament Plains." Because of this, the park is a must-visit location for anybody interested in Icelandic history or culture.

5.00The day tour is really good, especially with Bjorn’s guide. He is humorous and really kind. If you are Chinese, he knows a lot about Chinese culture which will make you feel at home. Very nice experience and highly recommended. All the spots we went to are breathtaking.

5.00My cousin and I had an amazing time on this trip. Bjorn was the best tour guide we could have had. He was very informative and was very fun. I would 100% go on this tour again with Bjorn. The views were amazingly breathtaking. We stopped to eat near the Geyser which was good as well. 10/10 tour

5.00Guide was Johannes (sp?) who was excellent - friendly and knowledgeable. Tour was great - easy pick up near my hotel - good information about iceland and sites - did not feel rushed at any spot and had lots of tips on best places to go and what to look for at each stop. Small group was great for this. Highly recommend. Felt very personal.

5.00A really nice tour with Bjorn! He was an excellent guide—fun and patient—who took us to many places not included in the original itinerary, where we got to see some beautiful, off-the-beaten-path scenery! I highly recommend Bjorn as a guide for the Golden Circle tour!
