Great Golden Circle Tour

5.00Our guide, Richie Rich was fun and informative. He provided lots of historical context and anecdotal comments. His music selections were good, though the sound level was sometimes too low to fully appreciate the music. He emphasized safety, saying clickty-clickty multiple times for us to click our seat belts. Our driver was very professional, smooth stopping and driving. He slowed for the dips in the road and the speed bumps. Richie Rich guided us very well. I did not feel left out or rushed. He gave us ample time to see the sights, get food or visit the WC. I was most impressed by the Fridheimar Greenhouse and Guilfoss Falls. Strokkur geyser was tardy. I took a video of 1 event, then a double shot of water came earlier than expected. I waited another 20 minutes with no activity. That is always a risk dealing with Mother Nature. Pingvellir National Park was great. Richie explained the historical story about the first parliament in 930 A.D. Richie provided lots of local color of the countryside and Iceland's poets and designers.

5.00Leifur was the guide and driver. Very good driver and good at telling about what we past by throughout the tour.

5.00Our tour guide, Ragnar, did a great job giving details about areas we were passing through, but also let us to enjoy the views. That, in fact, was the first ever guided tour I enjoyed! He was very pleasant, welcoming, and engaging. Also, the next day, we had a different tour, with a different guide from the same company, and he was not as entertaining as the Golden Circle guide. Thank you, Ragnar!

5.00Wonderful tour and engaging guide, Gunnar RA! The stories and engagement made the time between stops fly by. The highlight reel: the thundering waterfalls, the erupting geyser, and standing between two tectonic plates in the historic park. And don't sleep on Fridheimar Greenhouse's tomato soup, made from tomatoes grown right there, was surprisingly one of the most flavorful bites of the day.

5.00My friend and I took a Golden Circle tour. Our guide, Ragnar, was wonderful he explained everything about the tour and Iceland so well. We stopped at a tomato farm, where we tried a tomato latte and Fridheimar tomato liqueur. The stops at Geysir, the national park, and the waterfalls were amazing as well.
