  Gunnar RA was a wonderful guide. He was personable, knowledgeable, and customer-service oriented. If possible, we would definitely request him as a guide for any future tours we’d take in Iceland. He is a great ambassador for Reykjavik Excursions!

  We had an amazing day with our guide Gunnar RA. Our tour was prompt with adequate time provided at each stop. Gunnar was friendly and helpful. Information shared during the drive was interesting and easy to hear thanks to speakers through the van. Van was also comfy with plenty of space for day packs. The lagoon was beautiful. Highly recommend

  I recently joined the Golden Circle & Laugarás Lagoon tour with Reykjavík Excursions by Icelandia, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. We travelled in a comfortable small minibus, which made the tour feel cozy and personal. Our guide and driver, Eric, originally from Barcelona and living in Iceland for many years, was knowledgeable, well-mannered, professional, and genuinely passionate about Iceland. Besides providing excellent guiding throughout the day, he also shared many practical tips about Reykjavík, shopping, local customs, and everyday life in Iceland. The Golden Circle itself is simply breathtaking. I especially enjoyed learning about the tectonic plates at Þingvellir and seeing where Europe and North America slowly drift apart. We also learned about Iceland’s fascinating history and democracy at Þingvellir. Along the way, we saw beautiful Icelandic landscapes, families of sheep and Icelandic horses in the fields, distant glacier, volcanic mountain, graceful swans, and several other bird species. The scenery felt like a living postcard. Gullfoss was absolutely spectacular and definitely one of the highlights of the day. We were also very lucky at geisir park, where the geyser Strokkur, erupted several times while we were there. Two of the eruptions were especially powerful and impressive. For lunch at Geysir, I had a delicious fish soup and salad. The portion was generous. For those interested in practical information, I paid 5,800 ISK for the meal, and an Americano coffee was 690 ISK, which is quite normal for Iceland. The day ended at Laugarás Lagoon, which was a wonderful place to relax after exploring the Golden Circle. The architecture and design are elegant and blend beautifully with the surrounding landscape. I particularly enjoyed the views of the river, the surrounding greenery, and the historic bridge nearby. The sauna with panoramic views and the steam room were both excellent. A few practical tips for future visitors: • A towel is not included in the Birki admission package, but can be rented on site. • Bringing your own flip-flops can make the experience more comfortable. • Showering before entering the lagoon is standard practice everywhere in Iceland and helps keep the facilities pleasant for everyone. • Cotton pads were available in the changing area, but if you use cotton swabs, it may be useful to bring your own. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and relaxing. I would also like to mention how safely and smoothly Eric drove throughout the entire journey. Even sitting in the front seat, I felt comfortable the whole day, with no discomfort or motion sickness. The timing at each stop felt fair and well balanced, allowing enough time to experience the highlights without feeling rushed. Of course, if you would like to spend more time exploring each location in depth, it may be worth booking the Golden Circle and Laugarás Lagoon as separate experiences Our group was also wonderfully considerate and respectful. Nobody spoke loudly, everyone was mindful of each other’s comfort, and even the young children on the tour were calm and well-behaved, which contributed to the peaceful atmosphere. Thank you to Reykjavík Excursions by Icelandia, Laugarás Lagoon, our guide Eric, and all our fellow travellers for such a memorable experience. I would happily recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland. • A fantastic tour of the Golden Circle!

  My husband and I had a wonderful tour of the Golden Circle with Reykjavik Excursions! Our guide, Lasma, was excellent. She gave us great insights and history into each of the areas we visited, as well as into Iceland's agriculture and wild life. She also helped us to stand in the right spots to get the perfect view of Strokkur and other geysers at Geysir. Laugarás Lagoon was truly wonderful. The facilities were well maintained and clean, the geothermal pools were beautiful and relaxing. All in all, a truly memorable experience!

  Perfect tour for a day in Iceland. Tour guide Toni was very humorous and knowledgeable with interesting and surprising comments. The perfect conclusion was Iceland's newest lagoon facility.

  This experience was truly amazing! Iceland’s climate is so different from anything else I have ever experienced, and this is a great way to see a lot of the highlights and learn a lot about Iceland’s history in one day. The Geyser and waterfall is breathtaking. But my favorite stop was the Laugarás Lagoon, which is a new natural hot springs with wet and dry sauna.   This was a fantastic tour with Tony. He is a professional and knowledgeable guide who is also very welcoming and funny. The sights on the Golden Circle are spectacular and ending the day with the Lagoon was bliss! Highly recommend.
