On this classic tour we‘ll drive The Golden Circle and take in all its awe and beauty! We‘ll visit Þingvellir national park, Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss the queen of all Icelandic waterfalls.
We'll walk the beautiful Þingvellir National Park and UNESCO Heritage site. The scenery is amazing no matter the weather! We'll get a close look at how the tectonic plates drifted apart and on where the first settlers of Iceland founded the world´s oldest parliament Althingi (Alþingi) in the year 930.
We then continue to the geysers area with the famous Geysir which all other geysers are named after. Here we’ll see the lively geyser Strokkur erupt roughly every 5-10 minutes and reach a height up to 25 meters along with observing the other geothermal features of the area. From there we'll head up to Gullfoss waterfall, which many Icelander´s call the Queen of all Waterfalls!

5.00We had an excellent tour experience from start to finish. We were collected from our hotel by Ibi who was warm & friendly. She discussed our preferences for the day & suggested the order of sightseeing. On the day the weather conditions were extremely challenging, high winds & very snowy roads. However with our guide having a background as a Park Ranger & a member of a voluntary search & rescue team we couldn’t have been in better hands. Our vehicle was a brand new 4 wheel drive Jeep, comfortable and spacious & to have a guide all to ourselves was a real treat. Ibi was extremely knowledgeable about Icelandic history as well as the geography of the area & presented all the information with insight & humour. All in all the had a great day & would highly recommend. Thank you!

5.00Our flight was delayed to Iceland and we arrived with cloudy overcast skies. Then Skuli arrived and took us on The Golden Circle Tour. He completely turned our day bright with his wonderful personality. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Iceland and was even taking courses on learning more, we were impressed by his dedication. We were able to take this tour in a brand new rubicon jeep, what a treat!!!! The hours flew by and we were transformed into a remarkable journey through Iceland! Every stop became more breathtaking as we discovered why everyone wants to go to Iceland. We are excited for our return. The Golden CIrcle is a must see for your trip to Iceland, just ask for Skuli!!

5.00We had two full days, one touring South Iceland, and then the Golden Circle. Both days were excellent and we particularly enjoyed the trip to see the ice cave. Our driver and guide on both days was Vidar Helgason. He was knowledgeable and very entertaining, and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was obviously keen to ensure that our experience was simply the best it could be, and in this he succeeded. Thank you.
