A tour to take your time discovering the villages and iconic charm of the Luberon, including Gordes, a perched and authentic village listed among the most beautiful villages in France.

You will stop at Sénanque Abbey, built in the 12th century, a true haven of peace surrounded by lavender fields.

You will also visit the magnificent ochre trail of Roussillon, a site of ochre extraction where you will discover all its secrets (entrance to the ochre trail is included). Then, stroll through the village of Roussillon, bordered by ochre cliffs shaped by nature and humankind, where you can enjoy your lunch break (time included in the village visit).

Finally, your day will end in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, where you will discover the refreshing, bubbling waters of the Sorgue, a fascinating and crystal-clear river. You can also learn about traditional papermaking techniques, just as they were in the 15th century, powered by its watermill.

The tour is beautiful. Gordes, Roussillon and Vaucluse are worth it despite the heat. Florine or Florinde (sorry, I don’t know how to spell it) was a great guide.

We had an excellent day with Florine. She arrived on time to pick us and was very prompt with communication before our trip. We never felt rushed and Florine was able to answer all our questions and was very knowledgeable about the area.

This outing was just great. The driver, Florine, was so pleasant and informative. She walked around with us at every stop and had interesting commentary along the way. We really enjoyed the small villages and natural scenic areas we visited. I would highly recommend this trip.

The Vaucluse Fountain is an amazing place, so beautiful, bright, mysterious! The famous Petrarch spent his last 16 years here, in honor of the 500th anniversary of this, a memorial column was erected here in 1805. But the funniest thing is that his beautiful Laura married into the de Sade family, which means she is the great-great-great-grandmother of the famous Marquis de Sade!

We had an amazing time touring the beautiful Luberon region with Florine! My sisters and I truly enjoyed the day — Florine is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and easygoing, which made the whole experience so pleasant and relaxed. She picked us up directly from our hotel and kindly dropped us off at the city centre afterward, just as we requested. The tour was well-paced and covered so many picturesque spots.

My wife and I had a great time seeing Avignon’s surrounding areas with Florine! The tour is for smaller groups which made it feel more personalized. It also gave us opportunities to ask any questions we had of the region, and Florine was always ready to answer. She went above and beyond to make this trip enjoyable and give us a glimpse into the scenic region. We would definitely recommend this activity!
