  Brian and Catherine were very patient in hearing my needs and interests. They helped me custom design my tour step by step and Raymond was the best guide and host ever. I wish I had more time to visit other places. I got to visit Mabamba Swamp where I saw a shoebill and many beautiful birds, I then flew to Kahihi aistrip and drove to Bwindi where I had the gorilla trekking (too much to be true! Amazing experience!) and a nature walk through the Impenetrable Forest, next we drove to Queen Elizabeth National Park driving past the Ishasha sector. We had to game drive safaris and a cruise on the Kazinga Channel before heading back to Entebbe. I would have added a visit to Lake Mburo if I had the chance. Hotels were beautiful, peaceful, with delicious food and great service. Ugandians are very polite and caring people. Raymond was kind enough to share very interesting information about Uganda's culture and economic activities while we were on the road.   We used GoExplore Safaris for our honeymoon trip to Uganda, and from the very first moment we were picked up by our guide and driver Raymond to the final drop-off at our hotel before departure, the experience was flawless. Every detail had been thought through ahead of time, which gave us complete peace of mind and let us focus entirely on the adventure and on each other. Traveling in Uganda requires planning—permits for every park, the timing of animal viewings, logistics across multiple regions—and GoExplore anticipated all of it. We never once had to worry. Even when unexpected needs came up (like getting malaria medication we hadn’t secured before leaving the U.S.), Raymond had the perfect solution, quickly getting us to a pharmacy. The day-to-day comforts mattered too. On long drives, every stop was chosen with care: clean bathrooms, great roadside meals, and comfortable pacing. What may be underrated for first-time safari-goers is just how demanding the driving itself is—not only across the country but deep in the bush and on steep mountain roads. Raymond’s driving skills were extraordinary. Whether navigating rugged safari terrain or winding mountain passes, he made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time. And the wildlife? Beyond our dreams. We saw lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes—each in their natural habitat across multiple national parks. Every sighting felt timed just right, and that’s no accident: it was Raymond’s experience and GoExplore’s thoughtful planning. What impressed us most was that problems were solved before we even knew they existed. We never felt tense, not once during our entire honeymoon. That kind of behind-the-scenes excellence is rare, and it defined our journey.   The Go Explore Experience we had in Uganda was incredible. Brian, and our driver Vincent, were both fantastic, professional and always on time. We felt well taken care of the whole time. The gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking were some amazing sites to behold. The lodges we stayed at were extremely comfortable and all had really great food as well. I would highly recommend this company to all friends and family.

  My family and I were super happy with the 13 day safari trip we booked with GoExploreSafaris!! We can highly recommend the team for their professional approach starting from the communication before the trip (per email and chat) to the actual on road experience. Brian taylored the trip to our needs and joined us a guide throughout the journey. All the lodges he suggested were exellent and the timing of the daytrips was very well planned. Our driver Charles was reliable, friendly and we felt safe in his car at all times. We can´t believe Uganda has so much variety in flora and fauna!

  I wanted to add an addendum to my previous review. Goexplore provided outstanding service. The accommodations were comfortable, clean and well balanced to give a real feel for African experience, adventure and western needs. By the way, we didn't not have a bad meal time the entire trip. the driver Dickson was knowledgeable, proficient and definitely knew his way around and was a good man. He threw me a bit when he claimed hippos and crocodiles were both reptiles but I am not sure he wasn't pulling my leg. It is moments like that you bring home, little connections thank you Brian for the well organised safaris.

  The holiday obviously benefited locals, involved in tourism most. The community walks where we learnt more about local ways of life and saw life up close were simple and were of benefit to the local community. they were interesting and seemed to reinforce pride in local ways and tradition. The gorilla and Chimpanzee tracking helps preserve and conserve the groups of chimps and gorillas which are now protected in the natural rain forest environment. we thank you Goexplore Safaris for organizing for us this kind of responsible safari where we learnt so much on the trips and our guide Dickson was amazingly knowledgeable.. we recommend the service.. BRAVO!!!

  we had a wonderful and great safari in Uganda our guide picked us from the airport and dropped us at our hotel then the following day we drove from kampala to bwindi forest brian's communication was so clear and was so nice from the time of the communication through the email we never got an problem while on our safari we enjoyed every journey in Uganda our lodge was so good stuff were so nice and kind, the meals were perfect in rushaga gorilla camp we tracked the gorilla and I was amazed by the young gorilla in the forest and how they were playing we thank the team and brian for organizing such an amazing trip for us and we even paid less for this kind of service we shall definitely recommend you to our friends in finland to come and see the gorillas as well
