We had such a great day with Linsey. The short tour gave a an insight into the Spanish way if living and cooking with her in her kitchen was a great experience. The recipes were easy but always with an interesting twist. Eating out on the terrace with the view of the valley was marvelous. We would definitel do it again.

We were a group of 14 ladies, who visited the lovely family Lynsey, Alan and Nell at la Rosilla, Solano. We had the most wonderful day with hands on cooking - interesting stories about the dishes we were preparing and the culture that's special for the area. We were treated like royalty, from the moment we arrived . Cava, sherry tasting, olive oil tasting, snacks and the 4 course lunch that we helped preparing - accompanied by delicious white wine left us completely full and satisfied by 4 o'clock when we had to go home. The ambience is so tranquil and and cooking open air was an amazing experience. We can only give this event/ cooking class our highest recommendation and 5 stars... It's a must if you are in the area and want to do something extraordinary. Thank you La Rosilla family........

We had a wonderful time with the two gracious hosts. A short tour of Colmenar and then a short drive to the beautiful spot of La Rosilla. Surrounded by nature and enjoying the beautiful view, a delicious aperitif was served that prepared for work in the kitchen. We really cooked ourselves, under nice guidance of the landlady, a complete menu. Real Spanish dishes with fresh local ingredients. It was very educational and fun. In between delicious snacks and typical Spanish drinks. We liked it very much and for some dishes we really got to know and love new flavors. We would do it again, there are different offers. By the way, speaking a bit of Spanish or English is certainly an advantage, because there is also a lot to learn in detail, but the hosts try so hard that you get along well even without great language skills.

Our La Rosilla cooking experience with our host Lynsey was the highlight of our trip. The day started with her touring us in the area before arriving at her home. Set in the mountains, we enjoyed amazing views. We are 2 couples who enjoy food and wine and it did not disappoint. We learned about and cooked a variety of Spanish dishes, which we look forward to attempting at home with the recipes provided. It was a fun day and we would highly recommend this food experience! Salud!

Lynsey helped customize one of her cooking class experiences for us, since we have kids including a 3-year-old. We had a lovely time at their family home, prepping ingredients and making delicious olive oil cookies and paella. They gave us plenty of other snacks and I think our kids drank all of the iced tea available in the region. We ended with a peaceful meal on her patio enjoying the beautiful view. It was a very easy, relaxing experience and a fun way to learn more about local culture in a hands-on way.

Lyndsey and her husband really made the four of us feel welcome in her city and at home, sharing details of family life and spanish customs. The cooking was well prepared and at a level that allowed for talking while cutting, and with do-it-at-home style recipies. And the final meal at their terrace with super views and nice wine completed the experience.

We had a warm welcome from Lynsey. The experience was fabulous from the beginning to the end. The knowledge she shared on the local products will stay with us forever. It also made us appreciate the local cuisine in a new way. Looking forward to cook the dessert for our friends at home in the near future. Thank you again for this priceless experience and the memories!!!

Lynsey and Alan are THE most welcoming couple. They opened up their home to us and taught us so much about the Colenmar culture and their experience living in Spain. The patio and house were the perfect scenic places to enjoy the best meal we've had in Spain so far. By the end of the five course meal we just couldn't shovel in any more. Thank you so much to Lynsey and Alan! If we're ever in Malaga or Colenmar in the near future, we'll definitely be back!
