We’re a family run smaller boat. The best thing about The Mermaid is you will leave your day out at sea with unique experience rather than beginning just a number. You will be personally greeted by the captain upon boarding. Since we’re a smaller boat we enter inside the caves at no extra charge (weather dependent). You’re able to view the caves & take pictures. We’re all about customer experience aboard the Mermaid and we will do our utmost to ensure you enjoy your day out at sea and make sure it’s the highlight of your holiday!

Boarding begins at L-Menqa Jetty 30 minutes before departure time, we depart sharp from the beautiful seaside town of Bugibba.
Blue Lagoon
Sets out for the full day cruise. Cruising up to the first stop you will have a spectacular views of the stunning Maltese coastline. We are a smaller boat which means you will be able to enter into the caves at no extra charge. and will have the opportunity to take pictures. Your first stop will be at the famous Blue Lagoon Comino. You can swim, snorkel & dive into the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Once docked at Comino you can dive and jump from the boat. Or how about discovering the land of Comino by foot. For lunch there is a snack bar onboard where you can purchase food and drink and toilet facilities are available.

5.00I did this tour with my wife, adult son and his wife. We are in our 60’s and they are in their 30’s. If you’re staying in historic Valletta, be aware that it’s a 30 min drive to the jetty. It cost €30 each way by cab. You can see St. Paul’s islands from the jetty and you pass by them on your way to Comino. I suggest you take photos both coming and going. (It rained on our return and I only got a few on the return). The tour was terrific, but also wear tennis shoes. Getting off the boat at Comino was a little scary as the boat ramp was bobbing up and down and the path was narrow and uneven. The sights there of the Blue Lagoon were spectacular!! There were many options for food and drink, albeit food trucks without seating. Gozo was also fabulous, a walk up to the Citadella is a must!! The highlight for me was the sea caves on the return. The captain and crew were very nice and they offered drinks for purchase on board.
Completely missed out St Paul's Island

1.00We took this tour on Thursday 11th September 2025. We rated it 'poor' as the tour completely missed out St. Paul's Island and the advertised opportunity to trek to the statue at the top and enjoy the view didn't happen. Commentary throughout the trip was poor and no commentary at all on Gozo. The crew were also a bit cavalier with passenger safety getting on and off the boat at the blue lagoon. Personally felt that the crew just wanted to rush through the tour and finish as early as possible.

5.00Today’s cruise was truly a unique and unforgettable day! From start to finish, we enjoyed every single moment. The people were incredibly friendly, the ride was magical with breathtaking views, and the guided tour was fantastic. We also chose the guided tour in Gozo, which was an amazing addition and made the day even more special. We had a wonderful time and created the most beautiful memories. I highly recommend it to everyone!

4.00In general the tour is very interesting: you can visit most of the points of interest of the islands near Malta, the blue lagoon of Comino, the citadel in Gozo and the caves. The staff is friendly and helpful and drinks can be bought on board to cool off at reasonable prices. Unfortunately the tour has the defect of being too short. Too little time is left on both islands, especially at the blue lagoon, where with a single hour it is difficult to find time to buy lunch or a souvenir from the stands near the beach, or to take a dip calmly in the beautiful waters of the lagoon. The tour is therefore recommended for those who want to take a purely touristic tour, but not recommended for those who are looking for a way to reach comino and relax on the island.

5.00We had a wonderful day! The excursion lasted 6 hours and we could not see Saint Paul Island, but it is specified that the Captain can make modifications. However, this has been clarified in advance, through careful communication. The size of the boat was perfect to appreciate up close, all the staff was nice and warm, the music greatly contributes to the experience. We know we chose the right boarding, it fits what we were looking for! Thank you for this lovely dream come true

5.00The boat trip was great! Had a lot of fun. Everything was well planned. You can have drinks and snacks on the boat and jump from the boat to havw a swim when it stops.

5.00Had an amazing full day trip to Comino, Gozo and St.Pauls Island. The staff were professional, friendly and even helped me call a taxi when my phone battery died 🙈 The boat was great, not too big so we could enter some of the larger caves. The kids loved sitting at the front dangling their legs off the boat. 10/10 for the music choice, as a millennial I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you for making the experience seamless and memorable.
