1.00The driver did not even say hello. After a long drive he left us on a 2 level boat without a word. (If he said anything to the others from my van I don’t know). I did not even know there was a “guide” assigned to me. The explanations for the sites were barely audible as noisy teens were abundant and yet no one seemed to tell them to lower their voices. The “explanations” that I did hear were laughable- barely explaining any history or context. Walking off the boat someone shoved a top jar in our faces- I have happily tipped for good service but this is the first and only time anyone did this. After such an abysmal “cruise” it left an even worse taste in my mouth. Afterwards, I found someone from my van to my “guide” who showed us a meeting spot, and told us we had 30 mins to “shop”. ???? She didn’t even give any suggestions as to what which stores are nearby or where. I went for a coffee where the cashier informed me that he warns away people from this “tour company” for the reasons I said. At our meeting spot the “guide” then had me go back in the van, this time with a lot more people and stops.
Good for a tourist on a first visit
