Walk in the footsteps of country music's superstars and get an exclusive look behind the scenes at the legendary venue—a must-see attraction on a visit to Music City! Choose from a daytime or post-show tour, led by a knowledgeable guide.
Take a seat in our custom-built theater as the entire room comes to life with music, state-of-the-art special effects, 3D film images, priceless archival footage, and superstar hosts Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. Your insider guide will share stories about the Opry, and take you to the artist entrance where legends, superstars and new artists alike walk into the Opry House on the night of a show.
You may even have the chance to step on stage and into the famed wooden circle as generations of artists have done. Tours may also make a stop in Studio A, a live television studio and former home of Hee Haw.

Please Note: Due to the high popularity of this tour, times may sell out in advance. Grand Ole Opry Backstage Tours operate every 15 minutes. In the event your selected tour time is not available, you will be placed on the next available tour time.

Vouchers must be redeemed at Box Office upon arrival and exchanged for tour tickets. Box Office is located on site to the left of the main entrance of the Opry House next to the retail shop. Customers must present valid Photo ID at this time.
Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time to allow enough time for parking and ticket pickup from the Box Office.

5.00The history of the Grand Ole Opry was everywhere. Going on stage and standing on “the circle” was wonderful. I’ve listened to country music all my life and this was a great experience.

4.00I loved the video at the beginning and hearing the history. I do wish there was more time to look at the pictures on the wall. It felt hurried as the tour kept moving as I tried to see things.

5.00My husband and I went to do the backstage tour today, unfortunately, I was taken very ill and had to leave. They were so kind and TripAdvisor also was in touch with them to see if we could get a rain check for the next day. They happily accommodated us and we’re so kind about it. I highly recommend doing this tour. We are going to do the full tour tomorrow so I will report back but the little bit that we were able to see today was absolutely outstanding and the team there it was amazing!

5.00We saw dressing rooms and heard who used them, saw practice areas, walked onto the stage, stood in the CIRCLE, heard stories, saw lots of pics. It was very interesting.
