Great Blue Hole
Snorkeling at the Blue Hole gives you a front-row seat to its massive circular shape, with sheer limestone walls dropping into deep sapphire-blue water. From the surface, snorkelers can explore the shallow reef area, which is alive with colorful corals, sponges, and tropical reef fish. You’ll often see schools of angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, and sometimes even reef sharks cruising the edge. While divers go deep inside, snorkelers enjoy the unique view of the Blue Hole’s dramatic outline and the vibrant marine life that thrives around its circumference.
Half Moon Caye National Monument
Half Moon Caye is a true gem of the Lighthouse Reef Atoll, both above and below the water. Snorkelers drift over vibrant coral gardens filled with hard and soft corals, sea fans, and sponges, while spotting schools of angelfish, groupers, and snappers weaving through the reef. It’s also one of the best places to see eagle rays gliding gracefully and the occasional sea turtle passing by. On land, the island is a protected sanctuary, home to a large colony of red-footed boobies and magnificent frigatebirds. Between the reef and the island’s bird sanctuary, Half Moon Caye offers a mix of stunning marine life and a chance to step onto a pristine Caribbean island with rich natural beauty.

5.00Amazing tour, 100% would recommend. The Amigos Del Mar tour guides were SO nice. The tour was amazing, we went snorkelling by the great blue hole, explored Half Moon Caye, enjoyed a delicious lunch & dessert. Then finished up with more snorkelling. I felt sick and threw up from the waves and they made sure to take great care of me. Very friendly, easy to communicate with via WhatsApp to plan pickup points from our hotel dock. I would really recommend!

5.00Everything was very well organized, from the punctual hotel pick-up to the reception at the departure point and the entire journey. The crew was fantastic, totally focused and dedicated. All this structure only made the trip even better. The "friends of the sea" are highly recommended.

5.00It's a good 2 hour ride out, but we'll worth it! Amazing snorkeling, saw nurse sharks, turtles, sting rays and tons of fishes! The crew was top notch, couldn't have asked for better.

5.00Very well managed experience. Front office was very communicative. Boat crew was skilled, professional and friendly. Great way to see Blue Hole for any experience level. For those not used to sea travel, be aware that the open ocean crossings can be a bumpy ride.

5.00What a great adventure. They picked us up at our dock on time and the. We met up at the launch site. The trip out was good and the Continental breakfast was fresh. The snorkeling couldn’t have been better and our guide was outstanding. The whole trip was a wonderful atmosphere and a highly recommend it. It’s a must do.

5.00A well organised tour with a helpful crew. You can’t see the blue hole very well from the boat given the vantage point but it’s still cool to be able to peer into if you’re snorkelling (or go into it if you’re scuba diving) and there’s a good amount of nice reef and wildlife to look at, plus a cool stop at the island. The boat rides are a little long if you’re not a great boat person but there is an outdoor area up top that makes it easier.
