  Our daughter chose this excursion to do on her birthday. The driver who picked us up at the cruise port was very accommodating when our cruise ship docked late. They came back an hour later just for our family so we could do this for her birthday! We saw tons of monkeys and fed them sugar cane along our walk. The driver also dropped us off at the beach on our way back to the port since we had some time left. She made sure we knew how to get a taxi back to the port before she sent us on our way. Just amazing. Thank you to the woman driver and her hubby! We absolutely loved this and will go back to Barbados to enjoy a whole week at some point.

  Unfortunately local traffic and festival and combined tour van stops, while creating a pleasant enough alternative event, led to missing two feeding/sighting opportunities. Total fail. (Our hotel’s perimeter at 6:15 am gave a perfect opportunity to see and photograph over a half dozen monkeys simultaneously the next day).

  This is a wonderful excursion! We weren’t sure if we’d see any monkeys & what a great surprise! There were lots of monkeys all over the place. They were active for the whole time we were there. It was very entertaining! Our tour guide was a gem! He made sure we knew where & when to meet him. We had a short tour of Barbados on our way to the wildlife sanctuary. Our guide showed us the various places & gave some of facts about them. He had a good sense of humor. After our visit with the monkeys, we had another tour scheduled. Our guide made arrangements for a taxi to meet us in town & take us to our other excursion and bring us back to our cruise afterwards. He was really great!   Our driver was fantastic, very knowledgeable about life on the island and the areas we drove thru. She was able to answer all our questions.

  They delete the activity 10 minutes later than the pickup time! Please don’t use this tour operator anymore.

  Wonderful trip! The walk through Welchman Hall Gully was beautiful. The interesting plants and trees were clearly marked and I got to see adult and baby monkeys enjoying their day in the trees. The Wildlife Reserve was also fun. Beautiful scenery and the animals were quite interesting to see in a more natural habitat. Kate and Cleston were the perfect hosts providing great details about the rich history and the current state of Barbados along the way. They made me love this magnificent country even more.
