We just finished the excursion about 20 minutes ago and the experience was so good, I felt compelled to write the review right away. Pick up was on time and from the minute Dexter introduced himself to us we knew we were in good hands. He was able to accommodate us, teach us about the island’s culture, as well as make a detour to be able to see the spice market. The waterfall was beautiful - not very big but enough space to swim. It was not overcrowded. Then, we stopped next door at Mark’s Sports Bar where we had a light rum tasting and spice lesson. We really wanted to make it to the distillery before closing so we headed there right after. At the distillery MJ reviewed the backstory of 22 different rums. We were allowed to sample five. We ended the trip at the beach, which had white sand and clear blue waters. It is a public beach so there’s no seating, but it’s quiet enough you can set up your towel and swim without worry. We’re very glad we decided to book this trip, Dexter is truly a gem and we cannot recommend enough.

Excellent tour. Highly recommend! I did this same tour a few years ago with Dexter and now in 2025 we got Pete, who was also fantastic. Even though it was the half day option, there was no rush. The falls were beautiful, House of Chocolate was incredible and full of deliciousness, the Fort had amazing views and the distillery was so welcoming.
Good tour let down by the tour guide.

Generally a good tour but was let down by the tour guide. He unfortunately was not upbeat and told me and my brother off for not participating in the rum tasting as he had paid for it. Overall, he didn't seem like he wanted to be there which ruined the experience for that. The time spent at the beach was very short (30 mins) which was a shame as a the beach was absolutely beautiful.

This is a must do tour! Dexter was knowledgeable about the history and sites of Grenada. He went out of his way to make sure you were enjoying yourself and that you captured every moment.

Dexter was a fantastic guide and this tour was a great introduction to the lovely island of Grenada. We visited a beautiful waterfall and lake, did excellent rum tasting and Dexter told us all about the island’s production of cinnamon, cocoa and nutmeg. We then visited Fort Frederick which was really interesting and the view amazing and finally went to Grand Anse beach which was beautiful and the sea perfect. This tour was really interesting and we absolutely loved everything we did. Thank you Dexter for looking after us so well. We will definitely return to Grenada as it is a beautiful and safe island with very friendly people. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see something of Grenada with a great guide.

Our driver Dexter was amazing he took us round the island very knowledgeable, on time pick up, took us to a couple of extra stops that wasn’t on our list he couldn’t have done more. Brilliant trip highly recommended thank you

We were very pleasantly surprised to find out that this was a "private" tour. Just me, the wife and the driver. Pickup was a breeze, and our driver/guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. My wife has mobility issues and he was very patient and didn't rush us on any of the stops. Being a history buff, Fort Frederick was my favorite stop, with the rum distillery and the tastings a close second. At the beach, he was willing to give us all the time we wanted/needed. I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good overview of Grenada.
