5.00Initially thinking I signed up to some tourist trap, I was surprisingly shocked! Both by the sheer beauty of the landscape (I hiked my way up to the restaurant in Grindewald) but also but the very funny and exqually helpful and caring guide Sonia! She was the gem of the trip, she even endoured speaking Italian with me even though I’m a novice (the guide was only in English and Spanish). She truly possesses the art of “att bjuda på sig själv”, which is a Swedish expression that literally translates to “to offer oneself”, showing all one’s sides and truly being oneself! LOVED HER, LOVED THE TRIP

3.00We were disappointed in this tour - particularly after the fabulous reviews. Our bus ended up being a double decker. The problem with that being that the people downstairs weren’t happy (because they couldn’t see particularly well) & it was hot upstairs. The tour is basically just transport to the locations - they drop you off and pick you up at the appointed time. There was a bit of time pressure on the coach to book (at extra cost) to go up the mountain in Grindelwald. Overall, the journey was lovely but we felt it was overpriced for what was delivered.
