Swim with the beautiful horses and Visit Gros-Islet in a unique and unforgettable way on horseback. You'll see spectacular views of St. Lucian coast from horseback.
This activity is suitable for both first time and experienced riders with the choice of morning or afternoon departure and you'll be shown around by the friendly local tour guides who have a pure love for the horses.
We ride down past Pigeon Pointe Beach to Gros-Islet Village for a complete tour of where the Friday Night Street Party takes place. Enjoy our local Piton beer and other refreshments at one of the popular local bars. After this quick break, we head into the water for a swim with the horses before riding back up to Cap Estate. Tours are at times accompanied by the horses' sweet foals and Delwin's loving dog, Silver.

After meeting at the starting point, we start the ride which takes you through the magnificent villas of lower Cap Estate and along mesmerizing views of the St Lucian coast down past Pigeon Pointe Beach to Gros Islet Village. We then begin a complete tour of where the historic Friday Night Street Party takes place. On the tour you will be told by the local tour guides about our local bars, restaurants, traditional St. Lucian food and drinks. We will take you to enjoy our local Piton beer (and other refreshments) at one of the popular local bars. After this quick break, we'll head for a refreshing and memorable swim with the horses bareback in the sea. You'll view the colorful Gros-Islet village from the water before riding back up to Cap Estate and ending back at the meeting point.

5.00My family of four (two kids aged 12 and 11) had a great time! Our tour guides, Emily, Dante, and Stan, are very friendly and engaging especially to our kids. They ensured we were all safe and had fun. The horses are beautiful and well cared for.

5.00By far the best horseback riding ever!!! Riding bareback in the ocean was the coolest thing ever. The views were amazing, the horses were well behaved, the tour guides were fun! Nothing bad to say! A must do

5.00We had a great experience with Dore's. The communication was great from inception. We were first time riders and didn't know what to expect but they made it so simple for us. Our couples sunset ride was beautiful. There was a lot of rain the morning of our booking and they suggested we come in for the sunset tour to make sure we were safe and comfortable on our ride. They seem to love their animals and they look well kept. Kudos to our unofficial tour guide (Silver the dog) who accompanied us to the beach. I was able to ride my horse Nancy in the water which was really nice. I highly recommend and would ride with Dore's again when visiting St. Lucia. Keisha~

5.00Spent the morning/afternoon today with Delwin and his beautiful horses Ruby & Nancy My daughter and myself are beginners at riding and Delwin made us feel very welcome and at ease, he explained what we needed to do although there were plenty of times he had to remind us or help us along (our fault not his) We had a very relaxed ride through the village and along the beach and would definitely recommend Dores if you are a beginner or experienced as the horses are very gentle and know where they are going even if we didn’t 😆 Delwin definitely has a sense of humour which you will find out 😆 he’s very friendly and is happy to answer any questions you have about the horses and will let you know any landmarks that you pass If we return to St Lucia we will definitely be booking another riding session with Delwin, he is amazing

5.00I had a wonderful time with Juan, horse Nancy, and Silver our four leg-git protector. There were great sites to see and swimming with a horse was an unexpected treat. I would definitely take this tour again. Please try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

5.00I went on this tour with 3 kids aged 12, 8, and 8. The tour was just the four of us and Dore’s stables provided three personal guides. The whole experience was amazing. The horses are well cared for and wonderfully trained and friendly. Safety was prioritized. The views and trail were amazing. Highly recommend.

5.00Riding with Dores stables was fantastic!!.Delwin took care of my husband who has never ridden before. The horses were so well looked after and so calm. We rode to gros islet stopped for a drink. Then we rode into the sea. It was magical.when coming to St Lucia riding with Dores is a must…. You won’t regret it. Contact Delwin you will definitely be looked after.
