Saint Hripsime Church

St. Hripsime church is one of the famous ecclesiastical buildings in the city of Echmiadzin. This is the developed and perfect example of cross-cupola churches in Armenia. The church is notable with its architectural simplicity and loftiness. The tomb of the Christian martyr Virgin Hripsime is in the sacristy of the church. The site is included in UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.

Wonderful experience. It was a beautiful day (the tour is about 4 hours). As it was a Sunday we got to attend the church service which was very moving with beautiful singing. Arpi our guide was very nice and knowledgeable and the driver Khachik drove us safely from and back to Yerevan. I will remember this tour dearly and recommend it 100% !

Despite the rain and wind, the excursion went well: it is an indispensable half-day to understand the birth and spread of Christianity in Armenia. The times are well managed and allow you to appreciate religion, history and art within walking distance of Yerevan. Thanks to the driver Spartak and the guide Marina. Highly recommended!

I hired 7 tours with this agency because I was not going to rent a car and I thought they had a varied offer that covered the main tourist attractions of the country, while they were quite reasonably priced. As for the excursions, some were made in large buses (about 48 people) and others in minibuses (less than 20 people). I generally found them well organized. The guides usually gave explanations in both Russian and English, except for one in which it was only in English. Of the guides I would mainly highlight Hayk, with whom I made the excursions on September 21, 22 and 23, both for his kindness and for the explanations. And then also for the explanations, Gayane, who was the guide of the excursion on September 25, and another woman (I don't remember the name) with whom I did the excursion on September 26. For all excursions I hired the menu arranged with the agency, which offered 3 menu options in each restaurant. The menus seemed correct, even though my allergy to some foods prevented me from eating everything, and the price also quite well. Ultimately I was satisfied.

Overall, a great half-day trip from Yerevan. The size of the group was a bit bigger than I expected (although still within the limits what has been advertised, so it’s not a complaint). Tigran was a great guide, and well explained what needs to be known about the sites we have visited, both in Russian and English. We have been given plenty of free time to discover each churches of the visit. Complementary water and sweets were provided.

Our tour guide Arpi and our driver Khach were fantastic!! Arpi knew so much history of every place we visited. She spoke in both Russian and English and spent a lot of time going over details, so everyone knew what to expect. Plus, we got a pastry and water!! This is my 4th tour while in Armenia, but my first with Hyur. They were by far the best. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and Khach was an excellent and safe driver. Fantastic trip! I would highly recommend.

Time coordination is good, and after completion there is a lot of time to tour the city, the tour guide is very professional, explain the benefits in detail, can keep enough time to film, it is recommended to participate in this tour, the travel company arranged well, the car is comfortable.
