This combined tour includes visits of some of the most popular attractions of Armenia. During morning time Biblical Mount Ararat is especially beautiful, so the first stop is foreseen at the closest point to the mountain from Armenia – Khor Virap monastery, from where Christianity in Armenia originates. Afterwards you will have a stop at a special view point and there will be a chance to take nice photos of Azat Reservoir, surrounded with nature. Next on the route is the only pagan temple in Armenia – Garni. See lavash (Armenian thin bread) baking process, which is one of the most beautiful and common Armenian national traditions and participate in an engaging and joyful Holiday sweet master class. And, finally, you will be amazed by the magnificence of the 13th century Geghard monastic complex, partially carved in the rock and included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.

Khor Virap
Khor Virap is the most famous pilgrimage site in Armenia, as it is directly connected with the adoption of Christianity. As a state religion, Christianity in Armenia was adopted in 301 due to endeavors of Saint Gregory The Illuminator, who, before converting King Trdat The 3rd to Christianity, was imprisoned in the dungeon, over which a church of Khor Virap monastery was built in the 17th century. From the monastery one can admire the stunning view of the Biblical Mount Ararat.

5.00We had a wonderful time on this group tour. The visits to Khor Virap Monastery, Azat Reservoir, Garni Temple, and Geghard Monastery were all beautiful and well organized. The lavash baking master class was also a fun and memorable experience. A special thank you to our guide, Haik and driver Joseph. Haik was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the day, and Joseph is an excellent driver.

5.00I had a great tour with Hayk and Josef. Hayk gave us plenty of information during the stops as well as in the bus. The length of the stops were very adequate, I did not feel rushed nor did I have time to get bored. Also during the stops, Hayk would keep part of the group (English or Russian-speaking) while the other part was free to wander and take photos, then switch. This way there was no time wasted, it was really well organised. Thank you!

5.00I enjoyed my trip very much! I love all the sites that are included in this trip. It felt like a great balance of sightseeing and time to rest on the way there. Sam is truly an amazing tour guide! He is really knowledgeable and kind. Also, huge thanks to our driver, Joseph, for doing such a good job driving us everywhere!

5.00Amazing full day tour seeing some major sites in Armenia. Our tour guide Sam was very knowledgeable and had a good energy throughout the day. Our drive was very pleasant despite the switchbacks and country roads, Josep was a great and safe driver. My boyfriend was sleeping on the bus between every destination for how smoothe it was! Overall highly recommend touring with this group.

5.00Our tourguide Karen was very informative and friendly. He explained the different sightseeings in very good english and provided good entertainment. He even performed a psalm at the Geghard Monastery, which was very impressive. Our driver Maverick was also very competent and brought us safely and quick to our destinations. We had a very good time and can only recommend this trip, driver and tourguide.

5.00I really enjoyed the tour. We were all seven, all very comfortable, even with kids 8/9 years old. Driven gently through the serpentines by driver Haik and all questions answered by the attentive Anna. I recommend it.
