This combined tour includes visits of some of the most popular attractions of Armenia. During morning time Biblical Mount Ararat is especially beautiful, so the first stop is foreseen at the closest point to the mountain from Armenia – Khor Virap monastery, from where Christianity in Armenia originates. Afterwards you will have a stop at a special view point and there will be a chance to take nice photos of Azat Reservoir, surrounded with nature. Next on the route is the only pagan temple in Armenia – Garni. See lavash (Armenian thin bread) baking process, which is one of the most beautiful and common Armenian national traditions and participate in an engaging and joyful Holiday sweet master class. And, finally, you will be amazed by the magnificence of the 13th century Geghard monastic complex, partially carved in the rock and included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.

Khor Virap
Khor Virap is the most famous pilgrimage site in Armenia, as it is directly connected with the adoption of Christianity. As a state religion, Christianity in Armenia was adopted in 301 due to endeavors of Saint Gregory The Illuminator, who, before converting King Trdat The 3rd to Christianity, was imprisoned in the dungeon, over which a church of Khor Virap monastery was built in the 17th century. From the monastery one can admire the stunning view of the Biblical Mount Ararat.

5.00Our tourguide Karen was very informative and friendly. He explained the different sightseeings in very good english and provided good entertainment. He even performed a psalm at the Geghard Monastery, which was very impressive. Our driver Maverick was also very competent and brought us safely and quick to our destinations. We had a very good time and can only recommend this trip, driver and tourguide.

5.00I really enjoyed the tour. We were all seven, all very comfortable, even with kids 8/9 years old. Driven gently through the serpentines by driver Haik and all questions answered by the attentive Anna. I recommend it.

5.00Excellent service, very attentive and caring staff - from the office to guide Edward and driver Aro. With the latter we were on two tours – the monasteries of Khor Virap, Garni, Gegard; and Lake Sevan, Dilijan, the monasteries of Goshavank and Khagartsin. Edward always helped and suggested something interesting/useful, answered all questions exhaustively and always gladly, despite the need to lead 8-10 hours of excursions two days in a row (!). The tours themselves are a real treasure trove of Armenia! The professionalism of the guide only multiplied the positive impressions. It is this kind of warm welcome that leaves a great desire to visit the country more than once😍
