Khor Virap
Khor Virap is the most famous pilgrimage site in Armenia, as it is directly connected with the adoption of Christianity. As a state religion, Christianity in Armenia was adopted in 301 due to endeavors of Saint Gregory The Illuminator, who, before converting King Trdat The 3rd to Christianity, was imprisoned in the dungeon, over which a church of Khor Virap monastery was built in the 17th century. From the monastery one can admire the stunning view of the Biblical Mount Ararat.

5.00It's my forth time in Armenia and third time I'm using the services of this Tour Company. It was a great experience as usual. The guide was very informative I think her name is Arin if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure I'll be back in Armenia and use Hyurservice. They give you small piece of Gata, always feature a very good lunch and unlimited water bottles in the bus which also has a WIFI inside. Highly recommend!

5.00I took three trips with Hyur, this is the second which was exceptionally guided in Russian and English by Arpi with Leo as driver. All was very well organised and with friendliness and care for all the members of the group. A pleasure and very well spent time. I am waiting forward for the next one🤗 And do go with Hyur when visiting Armenia. Good prices at the best quality.
Great option to visit a bit of Armenia when you have only few days in Yerevan!

5.00We had done a tour beatifully with the guide Kiren (Kareen) and driver Levon. The tour was awesome and entertaining. The route well planned and overall everything was neat and accurate.
