Khor Virap
Khor Virap is the most famous pilgrimage site in Armenia, as it is directly connected with the adoption of Christianity. As a state religion, Christianity in Armenia was adopted in 301 due to endeavors of Saint Gregory The Illuminator, who, before converting King Trdat The 3rd to Christianity, was imprisoned in the dungeon, over which a church of Khor Virap monastery was built in the 17th century. From the monastery one can admire the stunning view of the Biblical Mount Ararat.

5.00I started the tour with Arpine (English and Russian speaking guide) and Spartak (driver). I was very welcomed by both of them and thoughout the tour I was helped and assisted ti the extent that when, on return to Yerevan I did not have any internet on my phone, Arpine helped me out and booked a taxi for me and gave direction to the taxi driver. Without her I would have been completely lost in the chaotic traffic and Rain of the Armenia Capital City! Earlier, I went as far as the border with Turkey, Georgia and Spartak drove the minivan all the way up the mountains (where the monasteries are!) very skillfully and safely. During the tour, Arpine never stopped giving me information about the places we were going to visit. I must say She has been very friendly and acting very professionally! Thank you Arpine and Spartak for the wonderful day!

5.00Nina Manukyan was our Guide on Day 1 and Levon Hakobyan our Driver. We had booked a 3 day tour and were so lucky to have Nina Manukyan as our Guide for all 3 days. On 2nd day our Driver was Levon Hanbardzumyan and Day 3 was Avet. On all 3 days we felt so safe with all the different drivers. We also arranged Airport Drop and Pick from Hyur Service and Naira from Hyur Sevice assisted us in planning this trip seamlessly via emails before our arrival. We are so Grateful to this tour company for making this trip so memorable and working around our requirements. A special Thanks to Nina Manukyan- she is so kind, polite and very knowledgeable. She gave us so many insights and details about the rich heritage and history behind all the places. We fell in love with Armenia through her eyes. Highly recommend especially when travelling with kids as a family. They took us to very good restaurants and arranged meals as per our needs. We are so glad we went ahead with Hyur. :)

5.00Im not saying it often, but this was experience of my life. Hayk (the tour guide) was super friendly from the beginning and then he took care of us like a father haha. Showed us everything we wanted, told us everything we asked and his jokes were top! Its that type of tour that i could do again even when i was on that. I recommend Hayk. He showed me that Armenia is one of the richest countries Love and support from Slovakia 🇸🇰

5.00Excellent tour, full of marvellous memories, exceptional scenery & sights. Outstanding service & driving, exceptionally safely by Levan. He certainly knew the roads & the conditions well & we constantly felt safe & looked after. Same goes for Karen, his knowledge, professionalism, passion & keenness to share his country with us as a guide was unforgettable. Highly recommended tour & 5 stars. The winery tour, tasting & lunch were also top notch & the whole day was amazing.

5.00Had a fantastic tour today visiting Khor Virap Monastery, Birds-Cave, Hin Areni Wine Factory, and Noravank Monastery. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English, making the whole experience even better. The lunch was delicious, and the wine tasting at Hin Areni was truly enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00A tour you must experience! We had a fantastic guide (Hayk) and an experienced and smooth driver (Joseph). The monasteries are worth visiting, expecially when a competent guide highlights key aspects related to history or religion which otherwise one would miss. We could barely see the tip of the Ararat since November (as well as March) is a foggy month, but it was still an emotional moment for us. For wines lovers the visit to the winery will definitely be interesting. Thank you Hayk!
