  Overall a very good excursion. We loved the chocolate factory tour & sampling and enjoyed the Gruyère cheese making & tasting with the lunch. The palace and surrounding village were worthwhile and the train through the mountains into Montreux was lovely as well. Our only negative was that our guide Normand made a few political references to his liking of Trump in America. For American tourists on holiday in Europe and trying to enjoy their vacation, his comments were very uncomfortable & unnecessary for many people in the group.

  We had a wonderful guide, David, who was very knowledgeable about Geneva, Switzerland and France. He explained in detail what to expect from the trip, and was very pleasant and kind to everyone. He had our tickets ready so we did not have to wait and parked us close so we did not have to walk a long way. This was a fun trip and we learned a lot about chocolate and cheese. We really enjoyed tasting all those chocolates and the fondue lunch. Definitely one trip you want to make.

  Learning about the cheese and chocolate making process and it's history is such a great experience! Especially with chocolate degustation! Great weather to explore Gruyere village.

  Great day out, Roger was fabulous - great historian and valuable information! Caillers chocolatier was divine, loved the fondue but the restaurant and medical town it was jam packed due to a cheese festival! that said i never felt rushed and i thoroughly enjoyed my day out

  Loved it, no shortage of chocolate or cheese! Excellent value for money. No other snacks needed along the way. Recommend doing the golden panoramic train very lovely views. Safe to leave items like coats on the bus. Not over booked so a good size group. Early start meaning almost guaranteed no line on arrival at both planned events, except when you look behind you 5 mins later! All the tours leave from the Geneva central bus station sp find that and then your operator, 2 mins walk from the main train / tram station. Long day but restaurants of all types within 200m on return with reasonable value. Our guide helped another guide out after their bus broke down at the final stop and assisted his passengers to return on the spare seats in our bus, what a legend, they are all competing but good people!!
