This tour is suitable for those who come visit Guangzhou from Hong Kong by high speed train in the morning and back to Hong Kong in the evening in one same day, without staying a night in Guangzhou. There's high speed train commuting between Hong Kong and Guangzhou so makes it easy to drop a visit to Guangzhou even you have your accommodation and limited time in Hong Kong.
We will pick you up at Guangzhou south or east train station(the bullet train stations) to start the tour, visit the major sites in downtown Guangzhou and at the end of the tour, drop you off at the same train station for your return train back to Hong Kong. This is a tailor-made private tour only for you (your group), highly flexible and the itinerary could be customised based on your interest or special request. The tour incorporates both driving and walking, sightseeing as well as trying some local food. We will follow up with you to firm up the itinerary after you book this tour on Viator/Tripadvisor.^_^.

Your local English speaking tour guide and private car driver will pick you up at Guangzhou East Train Station(in downtown city, 1.5 hours bullet train from HK West Kowloon) or Guangzhou South Train Station(south outskirt not in downtown city, 1 hour bullet train from HK West Kowloon), holding a sign with your name written on it, and start the tour straight away from there.
Sacred Heart Cathedral
Visit the grand magnificent western architecture of a catholic cathedral built by French in the 19th century, the local people call it with a nickname "Stone House". Available to view inside and it's open to the public for free for some rituals or religious activities.

5.00What a great to see Guangzhou in a day. Our guide Damon was so knowledgeable and took us to a lot of amazing sites. Lunch was absolutely fantastic and we got try things we haven’t tried before. This is a great city and we will be back for sure to explore more. He even surprised us with a little gift! Highly recommend.

5.00A well organised itinerary and a knowledgeable host. We had a great day and packed a lot in for the time we had. It was reassuring to not have to think about how to get around as it was all covered. We were met on our arrival at the station and delivered back to the gate after seeing so any historic sites and having a great dim sum lunch. A huge thank you to Candice for being so efficient and communicating with us from booking to departure.

5.00The guide told us a lot about the culture and history of Guangzhou and managed to showed us most of the popular tourist spots within a day! We first went to the Baiyun mountain where we could see the city skyline and sightsee some wildlife living there. We took a cable car down and enjoyed a 360° view of the city. Then we went to Sun yat-sen temple, took a couple of photos and went to enjoy some traditional dim sum lunch. Afterwards we went to the city square to enjoy some shopping and finished the trip with a visit to the famous Canton tower and the Guangzhou library. The guide was very helpful and flexible with the day planning, therefor we could combine the city sightseeing with a bit of shopping and street strolling!

5.00With only 6 hours to explore the beautiful city of Guangzhou, we were led by a friendly and knowledgeable guide named Zack. He provided my wife, my son and I with a well planned and organized tour of the city. We started by having a delicious dim sum lunch that included some delicacies unique to Guangzhou. We were then driven to some interesting historical and cultural sites which included a Cantonese Opera performance. At the end, we were driven to downtown Guangzhou, which is modern and architecturally stunning. During the tour, we wanted to know more about the people and lifestyle of Guangzhou, and Zack easily answered our questions. We look forward to our next visit to Guangzhou during which we hope to spend more time with Zack exploring this impressive city.

5.00Zach is a highly professional, knowledgeable and experienced tour guide in Guangzhou. Best yet, he is creative and adaptable to changes with a moment’s notice. My family had only 1 day in Guangzhou and, due to the Easter holiday, did not have the foresight to book bullet train tickets until we found out all the tickets were sold out. Zach helped us book ferry tickets and bullet train return tickets, had a driver waiting for us at the pier, took us to dim sum restaurant and skipped the long queue of people waiting in line. Zach is a wealth of knowledge of the history of Guangzhou and packed in a full day of sights without the hassle of long lines and bypassing traffic and the crowds. One of the best tours I have taken in Asia.

5.00From pick up to drop off the tour of Guangzhou was fantastic. Zach is knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and customized the itinerary to my wishes. He was wonderful interesting company all along the way and at lunch and his driver was polite and drove smoothly and comfortably. I cannot rate Zach more positively.

5.00Zack, was a great guide from the initial booking and sending us all the information we need to get a visa. through to checking in on use a few days before and then meeting us at the station to the start of a great day. He knew a lot about pretty much every aspect of life and put in a lot of effort to maintain conversation throughout the day which made it a real pleasure. He had a good itinerary for us, but was very flexible if there was something different to do. I am happy for the tour with Zack and would easily re book again
