AuroraScapes: Over 98% success rate to see the Northern Lights on my hunting tours!
Get picked up from your accommodation by an experienced local wilderness guide with extensive knowledge of Lapland and the Northern Lights. Head out to hunt for the Auroras far away from the city's light pollution and get dropped off back at your accommodation after the tour.
AURORA GUARANTEE: If for any reason you don't get to see the Auroras during the tour despite my best efforts, your ticket price will be refunded to you in full! If a tour is unsuccessful or canceled altogether due to poor conditions, you can book a seat on a tour on the following days, based on availability.
The tour happens only if the conditions are promising enough to see the Auroras. If we have to drive for longer to get to clear skies we'll leave earlier and in case of a shorter drive we leave later. Departure time changes between 17:00 and 20:00 and the duration of the tour can take anywhere from 6 to 12 hours.

5.00Velu our guide was amazing! We could tell he had a deep love for aurora chasing and was willing to do whatever it takes to get his guests into the right spots. This night to avoid clouds we drove to Sweden. We were also very lucky in getting a large display. We could not have asked for anything more.

5.00It was an amazing night and tour thanks to Velu. We arrived late in Rovaniemi and did the aurora tour right on the first night as the other nights would be more cloudy. Velu knows a lot of info on many topics and is a very nice/chill and informed man. He knew exactly where to go and when the solarpeak would begin. We saw the most perfect auroras. Thank you🙏

5.00A trip to a distant planet. Crystal-clear landscapes in white, with sculptures of pine trees on the left and right, crowned with snow. Velu, the Ambassador of Light, the Messenger of the Aurora, brings luck and happiness on a very exclusive and private journey into a faraway, other dimension (for a more than moderate rate). 5.00We would absolutely recommend a tour with Velu and laplandscapes. We wrote to Velu and asked how the conditions for the night was before we booked the tour. He was fast to reply and the conditions seemed fair, there was a chance to see aurora. He picked us up in Rovaniemi and we drove for about 2 hours to Kittilä. There Velu knew an open spot good for seeing aurora. He checked the conditions and went outside to see, he saw nothing and then checked his apps again. He saw that the activity was good and we stayed. After 15-30 min the aurora started but very small. Nevertheless Velu was confident and said, if you are patient I believe this aurora will be big. After 1,5 hours the aurora exploded into a magical solar storm and the aurora danced over the skies for a long time. Truly incredible. Velu is not like the big companies, he is here for the customer, nice and welcoming and doing what he can to find the spectacles of nature. Would absolutely recommend a tour with Velu over the more mainstream companies out there. He will take care of you.

5.00The most amazing customer experience i’ve ever had on a tour ! Absolutely stunningly detailled answers when i was asking (many) questions via whatsapp to organise the trip ! Velu also picked us up for the tour far from rovaniemi (45min) which was super nice of him so we could join. He was really knowledgeable about auroras and other subjects so that the trip never felt boring. He drove all the way to middle sweden on a low solar activity night to make sure we could see the auroras and we did !!! Really he went above and beyond to make the trip great ! And it was ! I cannot recommend him more 🙂
