Get picked up from your accommodation by an experienced local wilderness guide with extensive knowledge of Lapland and the Northern Lights. Head out to hunt for the Auroras far away from the city's light pollution and get dropped off back at your accommodation after the tour.
AURORA GUARANTEE: If for any reason you don't get to see the Auroras during the tour despite my best efforts, your ticket price will be refunded to you in full! If a tour is unsuccessful or canceled altogether due to poor conditions, you can book a seat on a tour on the following days, based on availability.
The tour happens only if the conditions are promising enough to see the Auroras. If we have to drive for longer to get to clear skies we'll leave earlier and in case of a shorter drive we leave later. Departure time changes between 17:00 and 20:00 and the duration of the tour can take anywhere from 6 to 12 hours.

5.00The most amazing customer experience i’ve ever had on a tour ! Absolutely stunningly detailled answers when i was asking (many) questions via whatsapp to organise the trip ! Velu also picked us up for the tour far from rovaniemi (45min) which was super nice of him so we could join. He was really knowledgeable about auroras and other subjects so that the trip never felt boring. He drove all the way to middle sweden on a low solar activity night to make sure we could see the auroras and we did !!! Really he went above and beyond to make the trip great ! And it was ! I cannot recommend him more 🙂

5.00This was easily one of the best experiences of my life. LaplandScapes absolutely nailed it — from knowing exactly where to go for clear skies to giving us incredible views of the Northern Lights. It never felt rushed or generic; you could tell he genuinely cares about creating the best possible experience. Our guide, Velu, truly made the night special. He’s knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly good at what he does. I bonded with him a lot during the tour, which made the whole experience feel personal rather than just another guided trip. He explained the auroras in such a fascinating, easy-to-understand way. 5.00We had a wonderful experience and can truly recommend this tour. Everything was very well organized, starting with the hotel pickup, which made it very easy and comfortable. The small group size made the experience feel personal and relaxed, and the guide was kind, attentive, and very professional throughout the night. We were lucky enough to see some beautiful auroras, which made the experience unforgettable. Overall, we have zero complaints — an excellent tour that we would definitely choose again!

5.00It was an amazing experience for us! Went about a year back and promised to leave a good review because we were so grateful but forgot about it 😅. We were desperate to see the Northern Lights back then as it was our last night in the Arctic Circle. We had missed the previous few ones as we were sleeping and not alerted by the rest of our tour group. Thus we engaged Velu, and he was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and friendly, making for very easy correspondence! He picked us up right outside our hotel and told us what to bring along just in case. Thanks to him, our 8h trip out to hunt for the Northern Lights did not feel uncomfortable, with adequate rest stops for toilet breaks and some food. And finally, after a long journey, we managed to capture the mesmerising Northern Lights that night. Very very thankful to Velu for making it happen for us.

5.00Velu was amazing, I recommend taking his tour compared to those runned by big companies or cheaper one’s who don’t give refunds.. to avoid paying double. In addition he’s so passionate about the aurora, so he knows literally everything about it & he speaks really good english.. We also went to several spots, although we found the aurora on our first stop.., but he kept on taking me to more places until we found a stronger one. Overall perfect experience

5.00Forget about the tour guides in the city center or those big, expensive group excursions. If you are in Lapland and want to see the Northern Lights, Velu is your guy. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and an expert on the phenomenon itself, but he genuinely gets excited with you when you witness those amazing shows in the sky. Communication was easy, and hunting for the Aurora felt completely safe with him behind the wheel - he is a trained national wilderness guide besides an expert in northern lights - He knows exactly where to go to ensure a magical experience; if large tour buses or crowds arrived at our spot, Venu didn't hesitate to drive further to guarantee us a private, peaceful view and too wait until we could have a proper Aurora show! He even went above and beyond by offering to pick us up from our location outside the city, rather than making us go to any usual meeting point -even though we were only two of us!To top it all off, he took a fantastic photo of us that absolutely blew our minds!

5.00We had an amazing time on this aurora hunting tour with Velu. The experience felt very private and exclusive — it was not crowded at all, which made everything so much more special. And the price was very good compared to other tour options that wasn’t promising or comfortable as this one. Our guide was extremely experienced, knowledgeable, and had excellent communication skills. You could really feel how passionate and professional he was. He truly went above and beyond to find clear skies and give us the best possible chance to see the Northern Lights — and thanks to his effort, we actually saw them! In the best possible time, on the best possible spot. On top of that, the whole tour was incredibly fun, relaxed, and well organized. We felt taken care of from start to finish and enjoyed every single moment.
