5.00Taking a tour to Guatapé was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Medellín. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, well-organized, and packed with incredible views. The main attraction, El Peñón de Guatapé, was absolutely breathtaking. Climbing to the top was definitely a workout, but 100% worth it—the panoramic views of the surrounding lakes and islands are something you have to see in person to truly appreciate. The town itself is beautiful and full of color, with its famous zócalos (decorative panels) giving every street so much character. We had time to walk around, take pictures, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. It felt like stepping into a postcard. Our guide Camilo was fantastic—friendly, informative, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the day. Transportation was easy, and everything ran on time, which made the whole trip stress-free. If you’re visiting Medellín, a day trip to Guatapé is a must. It’s the perfect mix of nature, culture, and unforgettable scenery.

5.00If I could give this tour 10 stars I would. My tour guide JOSHUA was amazing! Bro knew perfect english, extremely knowledgeable, and was the friendliest most personable tour guide I have ever had and I travel A LOT. During this tour we went and learned all about coffee at this beautiful little farm with an amazing view of El peñón de Guatapé. After picking and learning everything about coffee, we then drove to El peñón de Guatapé. Again JOSHUA was extremely knowledgeable about not only El peñón but basically anything about colombia. Great guy , great tour, cant say enough good things about it!!!

5.00We wanted to do everything outside the city in 1 day, so I looked for a tour that combined a coffee farm with El Penol and Guatape. This tour was perfect! Joshua, our guide, was amazing. He was very informative and laid back. I would definitely recommend this tour!

5.00We enjoyed ourselves so much. Our guide Joshua is excellent, very attentive, always willing to please us and took us on our way. At all the stops we had great experiences. The beautiful coffee tour, the spectacular Peñol de Guatapé, Comuna 13 a whole experience.

5.00We had an excellent guide Camilo private tour on Tuesday 08/26/25. The lovely coffee farm a complex process to make coffee a lot of work you learn a lot. Very nice all the work. Camilo explained the history of Guatape and the Peñol we gave the village tour. We were able to climb the Peñol Stone without a hurry. The best option is private tour. 100%. Thanks Camilo for everything.
