The Guatemala City Full Day Tour by a native guide is the safest way to know the city.

The local guide drive you around all the highlights and historical points of the city, with a nice and comfortable vehicle.

Immerse in the mystical Mayan civilization with a visit to the archaeological site Kaminaljuyu, to later enrich your knowledge with the Miraflores Museum, where you can find the must amazing pieces ever preserved.

Then we drive around the city most famous streets and zones only to stop in the Historical Center of Guatemala City, for a visit to the Constitution Plaza, National Palace of Culture, Metropolitan Cathedral, Central Market and a walk through the 6th Avenue.

We end our visit in a modern area of the city, that used to be an industrialized zone and now is a mixed zone, where you’ll find residential and commercial areas with a touch of contemporary art all around.

Guatemala City is very interesting and full of historic and ancient areas. The tour was special in that Pamela was very informative and patient.

Esteban was a wonderful guide, and took us to so many great places. It was so interesting, loved walking around the historic centre and Kaminaljuyu was a highlight too

It was a “city tour” unlike any other. Our guide picked up we were extremely interested in the culture so gave us 100% for more hours than we paid. My degree is in anthropology with the emphasis on Mayan culture. I was amazed by the new discoveries. We followed 5K years of history and left with a tremendous understanding of the culture and its people. Esteban is a knowledgeable, kind and dedicated guide. It would be an honor to have him lead you through this incredible world.

A great tour of Guatemala City. Super mix of the ancient Maya, Colonial and contemporary sites. Esteban is highly informed and has a great personality. He is also a super drives and the car was perfect. Would definitely book this for a great glimpse of the city.

We had a terrific full day tour with Esteban the best full day guide! The very ancient Mayan site and museum was beautiful and informative. Esteban is passionate about Mayan history and as an expert he is well aware of the latest archaeological trends. My wife and I enjoyed a first class Guatemalan lunch with music. The Palace tour was special. All the massive wood beams. We also tour the market place ending the day at the oldest church on a hill in the city. Highly recommend this tour with Esteban!!!

Esteban was a great guide! Very knowledgeable about Guatemala, the Mayan people, and their culture. We managed to hit all of the major sites both archeological like Kaminaljuyu, cultural like Cerrito del Carmen, the relief map and much much more. Lunch at the central market was so good. He then took us to drop off at our hotel in Antigua, which by distance is not too far, but traffic, ugh! He was a calm safe driver though. Excellent English. Highly recommended!

An excellent experience full of fascinating sites and insightful commentary. The pace was just right, not rushed at any point. A balance of outdoor and indoor stops. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and on top of that an excellent driver.

My tour guide was Pamella and she was amazing! She has so much information, spoke great English, was patient and moved at a great pace.

Esteban was an extremely knowledgeable guide who helped us appreciate how the Mayan culture evolved across the centuries up to present day Guatemala City. We began the day at a giant relief map of Guatemala which was helpful to understand the country’s topography and proximity of various cities and rivers. We then visited a Mayan archeological site before stopping at a Mayan museum. We proceeded to the main presidential palace and square where we discussed the past 100 year history of Guatemala then ate an authentic meal in the main town center. We then walked through a large artisanal market and were lucky to finish the day by watching a Catholic Procession from a nearby church and photograph several of the flower petal art the adorned the street for the procession. Esteban’s English was very good and he was even kind enough to return a cell phone left behind after the end of the tour. Highly recommend Esteban!!!
