Full day trip to Gudauri‎ from Tbilisi includes visiting Forest Sabaduri with its mixed forest and unbelievable scenery, Jinvali lake reservoir that provides Tbilisi with drinking water, Ananuri Fortress which was a castle and seat of the local dukes, Pasanauri the place where two rivers Black and White Aragvi merge, Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument (Panorama Gudauri) built in 1983, Gudauri that is the best ski resort in Georgia and Georgian Military Road that is a major route from Georgia to Russia through the Caucasus Mountains. You can ski in Gudauri during winter time, enjoy great views from the cable car and also do independent activities such as: paragliding, quadro cycling and horse riding. Two options are available for the tour. Tour with Lunch option includes tasting the best meals from local traditional cuisine. Tour to Gudauri is an ideal day trip to explore beautiful forest, ancient fortress, unique rivers, ski resort and great views. Total drive 295 km (185 miles).

Budget Tour option does not include lunch, but you will stop in a restaurant to have lunch.

Ladies need to wear head scarves and dresses in Georgian orthodox churches. Short trousers for men are also forbidden. Scarves and dresses can also be found near church entrances.

Comfortable shoes and warm jacket are recommended.

You will visit Sabaduri Forest at Tbilisi National Park to enjoy the most beautiful forest of Georgia during any season of the year. During summer, you will enjoy lush green forest. During autumn you will explore spectacular autumn leaf color and have feeling as if you are watching the beautiful painting. During winter period you will explore the magic snowy forest and feel yourself in a fairytale. During spring, the flowers and trees are blossomed and you can enjoy flourishing nature.

Unforgettable vacation and this wasn’t possible without having Georgi as my trip advisor. I feel lucky to arrange my excursion through him as he was having in-depth knowledge about the places we were exploring, nice and clean Lexus which make you feel special than others and last his soft spoken and polite English which you can easily understand. Getting English speaking guide was a challenging but thanks a lot that we booked through this tour.

DATE: An incredible trip with an incredibly knowledgeable guide- George made our journey to Gudauri a memorable experience , it was our second trip with George to Gudauri but our first one during snow season and it was really amazing .. I would say with confidence that Gudauri is very much under rated as a ski resort .. it was so beautiful , well organised , exciting and full of festive vibes. The road up through the snowy slippery road was very scary and dangers. But I had no fear as I trusted George was the best driver ever , he was very determined to keep us safe and always made safety his first priority as much as he was keen to make our trip full of fun and joy . I recommend taking the Gudauri tour with him in summer when you can enjoy the amazing views from the top of Georgia and of course try the delicious local barbecue and if you come in winter it is one of the best ski resorts we visited Abir Ahmed

First of all, Gudauri was refreshing to visit! The weather in early November was just cold enough (because I didn’t go for skiing). The drive up there was also amazing, taking in the sights, the mountains and seeing some local towns and iconic churches as well. Altogether, this is a must do when in Georgia!

This was very interesting tour. Our guide/driver had a great knowledge in history and was glad to answer any our questions. The weather was sunny. I will never forget the beauty of georgian mountains and warmest relationships between Georgians. George was so much fun and never bored us during the trip. Highly recommended this tour who love mountains, want to know more about georgian culture and simply have fun!

The tour was amazing! I love Georgia, cause in this beautiful country lives very hospitable people! It was my first tour in Gudauri and I'll never forget a beauty of Georgian mountains. But the most important thing in this tour was our guide's professionality and hospitality. I've never seen professional driver/guide such as George! He knows absolutely everything about the country because he answered every our questions from the heart. Thank to George now I know much about georgian's culture, history, traditions. He loves his job and this was the most important for us. His car was clean and comfortable! Select Georgia and Select George!
