Enjoy an exciting day of off-roading in the famous Sonoran desert aboard your single-passenger ATV! You will experience some of the best trails Arizona has to offer. Conveniently located just north of Phoenix at the base of the breathtaking Bradshaw Mountains. Our tours create a scenic and educational journey amid the rugged Arizona landscape, with opportunities to see abundant desert wildlife.
You will be with us for up to 3-hours total. Up to 1-hour check-in followed by up to 2 hours of training & riding.
This option is for single-passenger ATVs for ages 16+. To book multi-passenger vehicles for this tour (16+ to drive, 4+ to ride passenger) search for our "Centipede Tour - Guided Arizona Desert Tour by UTV."

For the best experience we recommend booking the early morning tour times, temps are cooler and group sizes are smaller

1.00There is not enough emphasis on this should not be a trip for beginners. I am sure if you were very experienced, this would’ve been a good time but unfortunately this rough terrain and scary hills led to my son rolling over the ATV. I saw a review from 2021 that was similar and I don’t feel if you are not a very experienced rider you should be allowed to go on this tour. In addition, our tour guide was very nice, but was going to just let him continue on even though it was not safe and the handlebars were broken. I told them we were going to just need to pay the fee to get it recovered in addition to the hundreds of dollars in damages we also had to pay. There should’ve been insurance options, clearly stated before we started the ride. They also keep your drivers license and credit card until your ride is over, likely because this happens all the time. Moreover, the tour guide, discussed rollovers and accidents, as if it’s just part of an everyday routine. I think something needs to change with this company as that should not be the way it is and this could be putting peoples lives at risk not knowing they are signing up for something that even advanced people were getting injured. if you Google search there are a lot of fatalities with these sort of rides and injuries. We heard of a woman falling down a canyon and rolling her ATV sustaining injury during our ride just yesterday, during the training we watched somebody go backwards on their ATV down a hill, and another individual who is an experienced rider wrecked and got very banged up. This company should not be doing tours like this, and for many other reasons, first time riders should never be allowed to do this. Based on the pictures and being called the centipede Trail, we envisioned that it was going to be a slow and relaxing ride out in the desert, and it was the opposite. It was horrible actually.

5.00Our tour guide, Chris, was amazing. He did an excellent job making sure we knew how to operate the ATV and were comfortable. Definitely would recommend!

5.00You can take your kids under 16 but you have to take a utv. You have to pay a seat charge for each kid.
