Lancaster County is home to a fascinating culture nestled in the rural farmlands outside of Philadelphia. Join our tour to learn about the fascinating history and complex lifestyle of the Amish community.

Your tour starts with a ride in our comfortable van out to the idyllic countryside of Lancaster County, where horse and buggies on the roads and farmers in the fields are common sights. You will be fully immersed in their way of life with a visit to the Amish Village Museum, a preserved Amish homestead that is now open to the public.

Come with an appetite as you enjoy some homemade Amish cooking at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you'll have a chance to savor some yummy sweet treats like whoopie pies and shoo fly pies from a local bakery.

We’ll have time for stops in small towns highlighting Amish-made goods, including quilt shops and road-side stands. Best yet, you’ll have the chance to support the community with any purchases, with unique options recommended by your guide!

I came to Philadelphia with my husband, who came for work. I scheduled this day trip while he was working, which worked out perfectly. There was just me and another woman on my tour, who was also traveling solo. We quickly bonded and had a great day. Our tour guide, James, was a wonderful host and very knowledgeable about Amish culture. We learned a lot from him, as well as visiting the farms. He made great food recommendations and took us to some good shopping. Highly recommend.

A truly unique experience and up close glimpse of Amish life in America. Seeing farmers work the fields during harvest with teams of horses, meeting Amish elders, and visiting Amish Village and shops were among the tour highlights. Just riding through the open rolling fields of Lancaster County in a comfortable van was picturesque and enjoyable. Our guide and driver Rick was knowledgeable, warmly welcomed by Amish residents and full of conversation. It was a day well spent that will be long remembered.

We have had a wonderful day and got to meet some Amish people and their animals. Dale provided extremely helpful background for all the places we visited and for the Amish culture.

We had a wonderful time on our trip to Lancaster with our wonderful driver James R. He had so much knowledge and history of the area and also of Philadelphia. We could not have been more pleased with him. We were amazed with the farm land and homes we saw.

This trip was so amazing! We learned so much about the Amish, visited farms and markets, and even got to pet a few goats! Dale was kind, knowledgeable, and made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I had a great time! Adam was very knowledgeable as well as kind, patient and helpful! We enjoyed the stops and the opportunities to dine and shop as well as learn about the Amish way of life! It was a fantastic day and I felt a unique tour!
