This approximately three-hour tour includes a relaxing break at our cozy Kota, where you can unwind while taking in breathtaking views. As we continue our journey, you'll reach one of the most magnificent viewpoints in the Rovaniemi area.

Join us for an unforgettable daytime guided ski adventure near Lake Norvajärvi! We’ll make the most of the daylight, using easy-to-manage skis that let you wear your own winter shoes for comfort. What sets this experience apart from others is that we’ll travel on our unique ski trails, which we built ourselves during the summer as well as a maximum amount of up to 4 people. If you are a bigger group and are interested please contact us directly. As we glide through enchanting forests, cross peaceful swamps, and navigate the open lake, you’ll truly immerse yourself in Finland’s stunning winter landscape. Our journey culminates on the shores of Lake Norvajärvi, where we’ll stop at our cozy laavu. There, you can relax by a warm fire, soak in the breathtaking views, and enjoy the serenity around you. Your guide will share insights about Finnish culture and traditions, making this not just a ski trip but a memorable adventure that connects you with the heart of Lapland. A great day in nature, a fantastic experience

5.00The ski tour with Kyle was a fantastic experience. After a short introduction, we started. We booked the day tour with Kyle and were traveling alone with him. Kyle showed us the different, breathtakingly beautiful landscapes and shared his love of nature with us. From a huge selection of trails, Kyle has chosen the ones that are right for us and organised one for breathtakingly beautiful and adapted to our fitness. To top it off, we had delicious sausages and hot berry juice. After the tour Kyle sent us some photos of our tour and drone footage. It was just perfect.

5.00Our guide was absolutely amazing. He made the entire experience so enjoyable from start to finish. His knowledge, passion, and love for nature truly shone through, and he showed us Finland in a way we never could have experienced on our own. He didn’t just guide us — he immersed us in the true beauty of nature and what Finland is really about. On top of that, he was so generous with taking photos and capturing footage throughout the tour, which made the experience even more special because we could fully enjoy the moment without worrying about documenting it ourselves. We truly couldn’t recommend this tour enough. If you want to see the real Finland and have an unforgettable experience, this is the one to book!
Magical Family Ski Adventure

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful and magical family skiing excision with Kyle and his Arctic Fox Expeditions. Prior to our trip to Rovaniemi we reached out to see if there were options for family skiing excursions. Luckily, Kyle informed us that it was something he was developing and he offered to have us as a test run of sorts. It was great. If you read the other reviews you'll already know that Kyle, the terrain, and his excursions are awesome. What stood out to us was the care and focus he had to ensure that we got the experience that we were looking for: not just some fixed itinerary. Having a child of his own, Kyle was great with our four year old daughter and made her feel comfortable and safe so she could enjoy the excursion to the max. I think it's safe to say that the highlight for all of us was when our daughter decided she was ready to try skiing on her own and loved it. We 100% recommend Arctic Fox Expeditions and look forward to the day we can come back and visit again. We truly intend to. One final point: We were also very happy to learn that Arctic Fox Expeditions focuses on Regenerative Tourism instead of simply 'Sustainable' Tourism. If you don't know the difference, like we didn't, it's worth Google-ing.

5.00Joining this tour was an amazing experience from start to finish! We had the chance to ski through breathtaking landscapes in the untouched nature! Kyle made the trip unforgettable. His excitement and genuine passion for what he does made the whole adventure more engaging and fun. You can really tell how much he cares about giving everyone a remarkable experience. I would 100% recommend this expedition, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, made even more extraordinary thanks to Kyle’s energy and dedication.

5.00Fantastic day out, made special by it being absolutely private. No people in sight for the whole 5 hours! Kyle was an amazing tour guide, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. He even offered recommendations outside of his own tour, which we found extremely helpful and his recommendations didn't disappoint. Would most definitely recommend this company, let's support the smaller businesses 💪

5.00Amazing experience! Such an awesome guide, he is truly caring not only about your safety but also your entertainment. Pretty stunning views in tailor made trails. I definitely recommend it to all considering you are fit and not easily out of breath. Even if you are a beginner it is no problem, you will get the hang of it easily. Hand and foot warmers are a must. Below -20 it gets a little too cold, but not a deal breaker.

5.00It was an amazing experience with a really caring guide! You really feel special while going around the tailor-made trails, in fact you brake trails yourself. Totally suitable for first-timers, considering your endurance isnt a problem and you are rather fit. You get to know the real Lapland with this. Not gonna lie beyond -20C degrees it gets a little challenging but for sure it is worth it, hand and foot warmers are a must.

Groups of only 4 people make it possible to really take the time to discover the forest of Finnish Lapland in depth and Kyle customizes the route according to the conditions and abilities of everyone, it’s great! I highly recommend this activity for anyone wishing to hike in the thick snow of the Finnish forests, beginner or experienced. Thank you, Kyle!

5.00If you are on rovaniemi or you pass by this corner even a few days I recommend 100% this experience! This gives you the opportunity to visit the Finnish forest smoothly in broad daylight with Kyle, a very good local guide who will give you plenty of tips and info about the area. You will not regret it 😉 PS: you can also see his 2 reindeer who are very cute
