  Jake was very good as a tour operator. He made sure that all tour members were comfortable with the e-bikes before we embarked on our tour! Jake reviewed all the rules of the road. This was especially important as being from Canada traffic flow was a bit of an “issue”. The use of helmets for communication was an excellent idea however the quality of the system was not as good as I would have liked however for the most part it worked well enough! Jake was well versed in his historical Sydney tour! We highly recommend this tour!

• Great way to see the main sights of Sydney and other parts you wouldn’t see on other tours.

  This was a great way to see Sydney on my first day. Jake is an excellent guide. He’s very knowledgeable. The bikes were in good condition and fun to ride. Going over the Sydney Harbour Bridge was a highlight of the tour. Highly recommend.

  Very personalized tour of Sydney. The experience was amazing, covering so many interests which would be impossible without the convenience of e-bikes. Would recommend to those who want to feel the city beats but have a limited timeframe. If the weather is great, pack a go pro on your chest while riding.

  The owner and guide, Jake, was like your friend taking you around to see the sights. I typically prefer to do things on my own, avoiding tours where the guides dispense facts like a tape player. Jake was extremely knowledgeable about the past and present of Australia/Sydney without feeling like you were in class. He made sure you were safe and comfortable.

  The tour was full of history and great stories. Jake kept us informed and even adjusted the time and date due to the weather so we could have the best experience. Would highly recommend. The lunch stop was divine.”

• Great chance for cyclists to see Sydney

  The bike trip is a great experience - but expect to spend more than 5 hours doing it. The first hour is safety, set-up, bike testing, introductions, etc. We have done bike tours before with a much quicker preliminary preamble so am wondering if this could be tightened up a bit so more time could be spent at specific sights or finishing earlier. Jake is very passionate about biking and his city and it shows. We loved hearing about the history of the various neighbourhoods and getting to ride over the famous “coat hangar” bridge. We appreciated the attempt to expedite our lunch stop by preordering, but some people have legitimate dietary issues that weren’t really given time or choice to consider. While my review seems a bit negative, we just offer a few suggestions to make a great experience even better. I would recommend anyone with some experience riding a bike to join this tour to see parts of Sydney you may never experience otherwise.

  Great tour taking us to all the key Sydney landmarks including crossing the Sydney bridge and cycling round the Opera House. Jake was a great guide giving everyone lots of interesting information on the history of Sydney. Highly recommend.

• Great concept, but left very disappointed

  Jake, the owner and guide, was very personable and knowledgeable. However, be aware of the shortcomings we experienced: 1) tour was advertised for 3 to 4 hours, but ran 6 hours causing scheduling stresses for the remainder of the day 2) the Bluetooth helmets didn’t work reliably, with the result being a game of “follow the leader” with no audio. (Jake acknowledges this is a known Bluetooth helmet problem with groups of 5 or more. However, our tour had 10 people!) 3) unbeknownst to us our tour day was Australia Day, and the streets were packed with pedestrians and vehicles. Jake had to revise the route on the fly, and without working audio, it became challenging navigating through the congestion causing both myself and my wife anxiety. We felt we should have been advised beforehand of the holiday impacts. (We would have scheduled a different day) I would have given fewer stars if it was not for Jake himself.

• The perfect way to get to know Sydney!

  The guided e-bike was the perfect way to get to know Sydney on our first full day in the city. Jake made sure we were all at ease with the e-bikes and helmets before we went off to explore the city. He was also a wealth of information about the history and current day Sydney. I would highly recommend this tour!
