Haridwar
During the walking tour we will try to take you to places which you might miss or ignore but had stories to tell and traditions to learn from. Our route is from Maya Devi Temple, Bara Bazar, Ghats and in last Hari Ki Pauri Ghat. Although we can explain things in more details but sometime there is more fun in reading things than getting to know them in person. There will be small tea break at Ghat if you are interested to try Tea at Ghat which is often more better than 5star hotels.
Maya Devi Temple
Very old temple of "Maya Devi" Goddess. Located in the heart of the city. In some of the old books Haridwar is called Mayapur due to this Temple.

5.00The experience was absolutely fantastic! Sunny is a super guide, he took us to the most important spots and temples in Haridwar and gave us very interesting information about the city and its history. He was always taking care of us so we felt safe all the time and very at ease. The Aarti Ceremony was very special, we were touched by it, Sunny got very good seats in front of the Ganga River where we could follow everything with full detail. We highly recommend this tour and this magnificent guide!

5.00The best way to explore Haridwar and its ghat. We had booked a tour and there is no regret. Sunny our guide took us to all places we have started our tour from post office Haridwar and went to Mansa Devi Temple then to Pashupati Nath temple (hidden gem) Kusha ghat later to evening Ganga Aarti. Highly recommended to people going Haridwar.

5.00The “Guided Haridwar Walk with Ghats & Evening Ganga Aarti” was great! Our guide, Sunny, was well organized, informative, relaxed and eloquent (in English), and a pleasure to spend time with. The climb up the hill to Maya Devi Temple was …a good workout, but the beautiful Temple and the views are well worth it. Some may prefer to take the gondola, but my husband and I enjoyed the festival atmosphere along the path. Sunny also gave us lots of good information about Hinduism at Haridwar’s Pashupatinath Temple near the market. The Ganga Aarti ceremony on the edge of the Ganges is NOT to be missed, and Sunny got us comfortable seats with a great view despite the huge crowd. I understood no words, but the monks’ chanting, chiming and drumming, the offerings and flame ceremony, and the participation of this crowd of people from all over India, touched my spirit along with those around me. Sunny answered all our questions throughout the tour and we never would have enjoyed or learned so much if he hadn’t been with us!
