Whack your axes in the ice and climb up! Safe also for the beginners, exciting and rewarding for everyone. Bliss Adventure guides in Pyhä, Lapland, will instruct you the ice climbing technique. Then it's your turn to show some adventurous spirit and determination. Meet your ice climbing guide at Hotel Pyhätunturi's reception, get equipped, hike 10 minutes in the wilderness and get the ice climbing going at Tajukangas Ice Fall in Pyhä. By the Tajukangas ice climbing shrine you will enjoy not only climbing in beautiful environment but also a bonfire and some hot berry beverages keeping you warm during the little breaks. All the climbers will get two proper climbs up the ice wall reaching above 20 meters. The higher you climb the better the views get! Suitable for anyone somewhat moderately fit. If you can enjoy a brisk walk you can enjoy ice climbing, too.

5.00Great experience!! We were only with 2 people so it was kinda like a private session. We had Serge as a guide who was really friendly and made us feel super comfortable. Also safety was on point. I had some experience with climbing before but the beginner was good because Serge told me a few more difficult routes. Great eperience

5.00We went there with no previous experience and not fully knowing what to expect. Our guide was very helpful, clear and nice. He explained everything very well and helped us through everything. We had fun and exercised at the same time. It was a great experience!

5.00A very unique and fun experience! Highly recommend. We felt very safe throughout, all instructors were friendly and helpful, and the berry drink was delicious. With the encouragement and guidance of Mikko, I climbed the full wall in the first try. I’m still in awe of that achievement and the view was great from the top - thanks a lot for that experience! Few tips: - Bring short jacket otherwise won’t fit with security equipment. - You will get two climbs. If you’re a couple, see if you can take turns climb one of the times, so you can take photos of each other. - Quite a few (fairly technical) instructions at the start. Listen closely but don’t get overwhelmed - the guides will help you during your climb too.

5.00We booked onto the Ice Climbing at Pyha as a family of two adults and 5 year old. It was absolutely brilliant. Artturi and team were so welcoming and kitted us all out in boots, helmet, crampons and harnesses. We had a comprehensive demonstration and briefing on the safety and techniques of ice climbing around a fire with warm berry juice. We each had two climbs. Artturi was absolutely fantastic with our 5 year-old and so encouraging and helpful. The ice climbing was brilliant, it felt adventurous and safe. It's an absolutely beautiful setting too. Highly recommend this friendly and exciting experience.

5.00Joonathan was our guide. He was very patient and encouraged my 13-year-old son, my 5-year-old daughter and my wife to excel. We all appreciated the professionalism of our 3 escorts. I highly recommend this activity.
