Begin your guided kayak tour aboard Tripoon as we depart the wharf and cruise past the sand spit, the well-known gateway to Jervis Bay. From here, we travel into the calm waters of Currambene Creek, one of the region’s most peaceful and wildlife-rich environments. Along the way you may see pelicans, cormorants and other local or migratory birds resting and feeding along the shoreline. Beneath the surface, the creek supports fish, crabs and a range of marine life that thrive in this sheltered system. Once we reach the upper sections of the creek, your guide will help you into your kayak for a relaxed paddle through this scenic waterway. 5.00I'd planned this months ago (always wanting to have a kayaking experience with the family). We have zero experience in doing this, but our guide Luke was absolutely superb and very patient with us (I'm Mr Unco, and I have kids with autism). Luke provided so much entertainment in the way of humour and banter which as a Pommie Sydneysider, really enjoyed. We were in a group with another family which was nice as we were a similar demographic and wasn't over crowded. The only suggestions I would make: i) For us, we finished in an hour and a half (rather than the advertised 2 hours) and I know my family would've enjoyed the additional 30 minutes. ii) Could the company consider offering waterproof lanyards for mobile phones (it was a shame nobody had any photos of the experience as a result of having to hand them in before leaving)

5.00We had a wonderful time, our host Jan was so lovely and very experienced. We loved going through the mangroves. The water was just stunning.
