The 5-hour itinerary includes private car transfers, a guided tour of Nymphenburg Palace, and free time (without the guide) to freely explore the palace gardens and the Museum of Man and Nature.
The 3- and 5-hour options include an estimated 1-hour round-trip transfer between the meeting point and the accommodation address provided when booking. Please note that the transfer time quoted is for information purposes only and can take longer or shorter depending on the distance and traffic.
We will arrange private transfers in a standard car (sedan) for groups of 1-4 people, and in a larger van for groups of 5 people and more. If you're traveling in a smaller group but want to travel in a more spacious car, we recommend booking a 5-people tour to take advantage of a larger vehicle.

A Nice Distraction from Darker Munich History

5.00This private tour was a nice respite for us. As you know, much of the history around Munich is quite dark and focused on the Nazis and WWII. After a couple of days of learning more about that dark history, touring this palace with Hanna was quite a treat. Nymphenberg served as the summer palace for the Bavarian Royal family. It’s a gorgeous palace inside and out. There are some rather unique items here, including a room full of original portraits of the loveliest ladies in Munich at the time, commissioned by the king himself. The grounds are simply amazing, featuring large gardens, green spaces and a hunting lodge. Take the time to tour the carriage museum. You will be stunned at the opulence and attention to detail. We felt the private tour was worth the extra expense because of the special attention and the expertise Hanna delivered. They offer two eateries on site, a small coffee shop and a nice restaurant as well. Note that photos are allowed on the grounds but not inside the place.
