Joining our SUP Safari tour in Reinefjorden with our lokal guides will give you a unique SUP experience like no place else. Reinefjorden is located just beneath Reinebringen which is one of the worlds most spectacular view points overlooking the fjords and mountains of the western part of Lofoten.

The fjord and mountains has a rich wildlife with a vast number of birds and sea eagles, the water is clear and we will most likely see star fish, sea urchin and other underwater life.

We will provide the best possible SUP equipment suitable for the tour. Our expedition SUP boards are stable for paddlers up to 110 kg, they can handle different types of weather conditions which will also make the tour more safe.

We go in small groups with a maximum of 5 people and we'll even bring a small local snack and a hot/cold drink.

On our guided SUP Safari tour on the Reinefjord you will get to view the spectacular nature and surroundings of Reine from the water. Lofoten has a rich wildlife with a vast number of birds and sea eagles, the water is clear and we will hopefully see star fish, sea urchins and other underwater life. Our guide is living year round on the island and is certified by ISA (International Surfing Association). We paddle in small groups with a maximum of 5 persons. Bring your camera with you and we will make time for pictures. If you don't have your own, you can borrow a waterproof bag and/or a phone case from us. Anyway, our guide will of course share photos with you after the tour. We will bring different and unik local snacks and a hot/cold drink and have a small break on land, or tie our SUP's together to make a raft. We use top quality expedition SUP boards that can hold paddlers up to 110 kg while still being stable on the water – this is worth noting because it will give you the best possible paddle experience. Before entering the fjord we will give you a safety brief, talk about how to handle the gear and give a few tips about paddling techniques.

The guide took us on a 3 hour paddling route through the fjords and mountains. The guide was super friendly and tailored the tour to our physical ability, the wind and currents, and our need to stop and take in the view every 5 minutes. He never rushed us to continue, which ended up giving us a little extra time on the tour. He was very friendly and even offered to take some pictures of us so now I have incredible photos from this experience :) The tour includes boards, wetsuits, and shoes. We were supposed to have a break on land, but we were enjoying the water so much that he decided to link the boards and have a water picnic with some snacks and drinks. I super recommend this tour as it’s a beautiful experience.

This was such a beautiful way to see Lofoten! Me or my partner are not experienced paddle boarders (we’ve done it once for about 20 minutes) but Hallgeir was an amazing teacher, we both learned quickly and had so much fun! Highly recommend.

We had an awesome day out with Hallgier. He’s a brilliant guide and had excellent equipment. We had very little prior SUP experience and he made sure we had a great time. Reinefjorden is an absolutely stunning setting too

We had an amazing experience with SUP Reine. It was our first time SUPing and we were in good hands. Hallgeir is a very experienced guide and we learned many new techniques. He safely guided us through the breathtaking Reinefjorden, a place so beautiful it's hard to believe it's real. With the colours of autumn, the majestic mountains and golden sunset, it's an experience we will never forget. Highly reccommended!
