Justine is very knowledgeable about the area, Rhône AOP and other wine classifications, the vineyards, and the wine growing and making process. She provided some local history as well as modern practices, and chose 2 smaller wineries for the tour - which we appreciated. She had good rapport with the staff at the places we visited. Her transport was comfortable, she was punctual, and her English was excellent. My only critique is that we fealt a bit rushed. After leaving at 9am, and a 45 minute drive, we toured the winery and tasted 7 wines in the span of an hour. Then another short drive for another tour and 7 wines. (The wines chosen were excellent and across various price points and levels.) But not much time for descriptions, discussion, notes, photos, or purchases at each stop. We were back in Lyon promptly at 1pm. We might suggest a short, local lunch in between the stops to better see a village; more time to taste, reflect, and discuss each wine and each place; and a later return time - maybe 3pm. It was just a lot to do 14 tastes before noon.

Justine, our guide, is very knowledgeable and passionate about wine. She has worked in the industry for a number of years. She knew the answers to most questions and, if she didn’t know, she researched the answer. We visited 2 vineyards in her air conditioned Mercedes van. Our group of 4 plus 4 other travellers and Justine in the van. A comfortable ride. Justine also provided a charcuterie board with local cheese and meat at the first vineyard. Her tour is highly rated for good reason!! A definite 5 star tour. Our group of 4 would highly recommend this tour.

This tour is wonderful. The guide was very knowledgeable, and I appreciated the chance to visit both a larger and smaller winery. The tastings were great and I thought they were very unique — especially appreciated the condrieu. Highly recommend this, appreciated all of the detail and experiences curated for a half day.

Excellent tour with Justine, and I would highly recommend it. We visited a beautiful winery as well as a very local one and rustic one but with some excellent wines with several tasting options, especially at the smaller winery. . I would avoid a Beaujolais tour and stick to the Northern Rhone option.

Wonderful experience getting to taste a variety of regional wines and take a close look at one of the vineyards. Group was small and friendly! Would go again in a heartbeat.
