  The optional Portal of Glory was worth the extra fee, without a doubt, although the Cathedral's prohibition against allowing the guide to accompany the group for this part of the tour was unfortunate. A small handout explaining where and when to reconvene for the balance of the tour after the Portal would have reduced confusion and allowed for a fuller use of the time provided. The guide was lively, well-informed, and touched on many interesting features of the Portal, the Museum, and the Cathedral. The stop to see the panorama of the Praza do Obradoiro (the square) from above was a special treat, having entered it on foot as a pilgrim the day before. Excellent value for money.

  It was very unpleasant. Viator staff was not helpful and rude…. I asl for a change and they were very rude in the reply.

  This was an excellent tour and worthwhile activity to better appreciate not only the cathedral but the city's history. Our teenage daughter, husband and I were left with a better appreciation of the beautiful cathedral, Saint James' story and of our own Camino pilgrimage together.

  In Summer go early! The guide, Irene, was excepcional. She acknowledged every one and Made light jokes to loosen everybody
