  We learned so much! Enjoyed our tour and tasting.. wow what a beautiful winery and marvelous winery and wine! Hated to see the tour end but left with some great bottles- thank you Christina!!

  First of all , our tour guide Noemi. She showed incredible passion for her job, the company , and of course, the product. The tour was memorable in that many of the processes were new to us and unique to this winery. Definitely a five star tour and excellent wines were the added bonus

  Very well organised, beautiful place and very knowledgeable and friendly guide, the buffet that accompanies the tasting is very rich and abundant, They only produce red wine, but of high quality! Absolutely worth trying!

  The view to this winery is characterized by the sympathy of the people who make it, its kindness surprised us, throughout the tour of the facilities we were always treated with a kindness and naturalness that made us feel friends and even part of the Luis Cañas family. You do a tour of the facilities obviously but with a different touch, I don't want to reveal everything you do but it's super interesting. You end up doing a tasting of several wines and you can always taste other wines by paying the price of the glass. Really, highly recommended

  

  

  

  

  

• Fantastic Winery Tour and Barrel Tasting with Guide Gema

  We toured Cair as part of a guided wine- and history-focused day tour from Madrid (see my separate review of winetoursfrommadrid.com.) We are so grateful to our tour guide, Raul, who is very knowledgeable regarding wine and arranged our private visit here. The Cair winery is modern, beautiful, and architecturally interesting. Our guide at Cair, Gema, explained the winery's history and their dedication to excellent wines. She did an A+ job with our tour in English, which really made our experience great, as we have very little Spanish. We really appreciated the barrel tasting she led us on, which is really a fun experience and a rare opportunity. Best of all, of course, was our tasting, led by Gema but never in an intrusive way, accompanied by delicious and plentiful tapas. They were even able to tailor the tapas to our dietary needs (no pork or shellfish), which we really appreciate. Of course, we purchased a case of wine to remind us of our great visit! Muchas Gracias to Raul, Gema, and the great team at Cair for a really memorable visit!

  A highly recommended experience. I went with three friends and the four of us learned many about the winemaking process. Also, we liked the wines very much and the final appetizer very complete. I recommend it 100%

  What an amazing visit! The wines are fantastic, and the winery is beautiful. Naomi was our guide. She was knowledgeable and passionate about their wines. This made the visit and the tasting great. The barrel room experience was fun and educational. I will say no more as you must experience it. The Cair wines are some of the best I have had in the region. We tasted all the wines and left with cases. We truly enjoyed the tour of the winery and the tasting. You will not be disappointed so make sure you visit!
