During our guided tour of the city of Carcassonne, we will discover the mythical alleys of this ancient fortress. The monumentality of the citadel will prevail to you and its 2600 years of history will be told you. Mysterious Cathars and military architecture will also be mentioned. Complete guided tour of the City during which we will see the fortifications and the exteriors of the count's castle. We can also visit the Count's castle (entrance fee 9 euros 50 /person) to discover its defensive system, its keep and its lapidary museum or evoke it from the outside. We will end our discovery with the astonishing Basilica of St-Nazaire and St-Celse.

5.00I highly recommend this tour! You get so much more out of our visit and you look the whole city in a different eyes. We had Thomas as our guide and he was very nice, funny and knowledgeable! He answered all our questions and the time flew by.

5.00I was visiting Carcassonne with New Market Holidays. We had a tour of the city with Julian. I highly recommend his tours. He brought the place alive with his love of history of this wonderful city, along with the tails of troubadours. As we walked, he guided us through its history, the buildings and made suggestions as to what we might wish to see more of in our free time. His love of this place just shone through.

3.00Hello, our guide Carolina was excellent knew a lot and spoke good Spanish, however I think the price is excessive for what the tour is. It is very short and there is not much to see. The good thing would be for the Castle to flow. I thought it was very expensive for what it was.

5.00Very nice discovery with our guide of the Tourist Office. Despite a sweltering temperature, we were able to discover the compound, the city and its history. The castle can be visited separately. I strongly recommend the guided tour as it brings many details about the history of the old town. And special anecdotes.

5.00Carcassonne is well worth a visit, and you get so much more out of the visit if you take a guided tour to get all the history behind this great place. Anna was very knowing and was really good at telling the story of Carcassonne.

5.00Natalie is a great tour guide. We learned a lot about the history and architecture of Carcassonne, folk stories about the local shops, in a very relaxed, organized and fun manner. It was a rainy day, but we didn’t miss a bit. We would definitely recommend her.
