This tour is packed with adventure! Expect outstanding views, majestic waterfalls and breathtaking fjords. On this tour you get to experience the cultural viking village in Njardarheimr, cruise through UNESCO World Heritage Site Nærøyfjorden and one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, The Flåm Railway. The tour is guided until Viking Village, after the village you are self guided on the cruise and the train. You will get all the info you need.
Start time is 9.00 am until 30th of September. The cruise leaves at 2.30 from Gudvangen. Train from Flåm goes at 5.30 pm and arrival in Bergen is 9.15 pm.
From 1st of October there are new times: Start time of the tour is 8.00 AM. The cruise leaves at 12:00 pm and the train from Flåm goes 2.55 pm and arrival in Bergen is 6.17 pm.
From 1st of November and all of the winter season: Start time: 8.00 AM. The cruise leaves from Gudvangen at 12:00 pm and the train from Flåm goes 2.30 pm and arrival in Bergen is 6.17 pm.

We will make a 15 min. stop at Dale Village where you can enjoy some coffee and snack or use the toilet. Very cosy town to experience.
Tvindefossen
15-20 min. stop at Tvindefossen Waterfall. Standing tall at an impressive 116 meters (381 ft), this natural wonder is more than just your average cascade. Fed by the Kroelvi stream, it dramatically tumbles over a receding cliff, showcasing nature's raw power and sheer beauty. Great guide and intro tour for Norway!

5.00I was too late to buy tickets for the Flam Railway from Oslo to Bergen so I was looking for an alternative that would include it, leaving from Bergen. This tour was perfect! Our guide, Thomas, was amazing! As we rode through Norway he shared his observations as a native German who fell in love with the country. There were so many fun and interesting things that I never would have noticed or come across. Because we lucked out with a nice day, he tried out an extra stop that had great views. When we arrived at the Viking Village, which is next to spot where the fjord cruise departs, his job was done and he could have left. Instead, he let us keep our bags in the van while we explored the Viking Village and he waited to make sure we all got on the cruise without a problem. That went above and beyond. He provided a great start to an amazing day exploring Norway. My only regret is that I didn't say a proper thank you or goodbye as we rushed to grab a coffee and board the cruise. I also really enjoyed the Viking village. I was a little worried it would be geared more towards children but it wasn't and it was fun to learn about how things were back in the days of the Vikings. The rest of the day went smoothly and I would definitely recommend this tour!

4.00The day was beautiful but we had some transportation issues at the start that threw the did our confidence all morning. Hence the time at the Viking Village got shortened by a lot. We felt after that we could have done the whole experience more economically. But the views, experience was a “do not miss” experience.

5.00The tour was excellent and planned well. We knew exactly what the itinerary was and what we needed to do. The drive up to Gudvangen was great and we got to learn more about the area from our tour guide. Viking village was a fun and educational stop and the fjords are breath taking. The Flåm railway is historical, so yes it is dated, but that is part of the charm and only added to the experience for us! Overall, each stop was wonderful and the tour was very well planned out. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip, thank you for a wonderful and unforgettable day!

5.00This excursion was awesome; got to view spectacular and beautiful area of Norway. Our guide/driver was very personal and knowledgeable. Tour logistics were great and our vehicle was immaculate. Highly recommend this tour.
Great Tour until the Train Ride Back to Bergen

4.00The bus ride to the Viking Village was wonderful with much information given about Norway and the areas visited. We enjoyed all the stops for photos and rest breaks. The Viking Village, Fjord cruise and Fram Railway ride were all terrific. The only problem we had was that after the Fram Railway ride, the Vy train connection in Myrdal was cancelled due to a train derailment. We were disappointed in the way the trip vendor Fjordrive AS simply referred us to Vy train company to get back to Bergen without providing us any feedback as to the help we could expect from Vy to return to Bergen from Myrdal. We had to return to Fram from Myrdal and wait for buses to transfer us to Voss for a connection back to Bergen. It was a free-for-all trying to board the buses and all of our party could not board the same bus. We arrived back at Bergen at 3:00am. While the train derailment was not the failt of Fjordive AS, we expected more assistance from Fjordrive AS to ensure how we would return to Bergen from Myrdal and Fram.
