This tour is packed with adventure! Expect outstanding views, majestic waterfalls and breathtaking fjords. On this tour you get to experience the cultural viking village in Njardarheimr, cruise through UNESCO World Heritage Site Nærøyfjorden and one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, The Flåm Railway. The tour is guided until Viking Village, after the village you are self guided on the cruise and the train. You will get all the info you need.
Start time is 8.00 am until 30th of April 2026. From 1st of May until 30th of September 2026 the start time is 9.00 am. In October and the rest of the winter season 2026 the start time is 8.00 am. again. Please view the schedule in order to get the different cruise and train times for 2026.

The tour starts by minibus, and we will not take responsibility if you are too late and miss out on the tour. We recommend you meet up at 15 min. before latest. Meet-up is outside the Tourist Information located at address: Strandkaien 1. You will see Scandic Hotel Torget just across the street. Look for a black Mercedes Sprinter Minibus. We will make a 15 min. stop at Dale Village where you can enjoy some coffee and snack or use the toilet. Very cosy town to experience.

5.00Absolutely fabulous experience… our guide Thomas was professional and knowledgeable as we road in the comfort of his sprinter van. The fjord cruise to flambana train and finally the train from Myrdal to Bergen was easy and seamless. The views all day from each experience were breathtaking. It’s a long day but well worth it.

5.00Weather in Norway can never be guaranteed, but we were lucky. Our driver was helpful and informative. The fjord cruise and Flam Railway were highlights. We would thoroughly recommend this trip.

4.00I wish the driver had shared more information about Norway and the fjords, geography, lore, etc. instead he only drove and, at one point, played a collection of classical music with Grieg beginning. We four felt the Viking Village was a bit like any other reconstructed amusement park, a bit hokey. The cruise was amazing but the geology, on going changes, history of the country and her people would have added so much. The cruise went far beyond our expectations. We four enjoyed the Flam rail upon our return.

5.00Bring a raincoat. Waterfalls were fantastic. FLÅM train lived up to its reputation. Good driver on first part of tour.

5.00A really fantastic day which packed in so much! Our driver, Stig, was very good and we learnt a lot from him. The Viking Village was well worth a visit and the fjord boat trip and Flam Railway were very special. All very well organised and everything ran exactly to the schedule.

5.00Was a good tour Guide was good & told us about everything we should know just be careful when u get your tickets for train that if your a couple u might not be sat together & make sure u read the tour itinerary because from the cruise the tour is self guided which 1 lady didn’t know & was on her own . So I sat with her on both trains them walked her back to her hotel .

5.00Learned so much information from our guide during the first part of the tour then was left to navigate Flam after the cruise and the trains ourselves. Wish we had more time at the Viking village and felt we definitely shouldn’t have paid for the full experience when we were there for 30 min. The cruise was gorgeous and the boat was amazing

5.00We had a great time doing the Viking village Fjordes and the glum railway trip. Astrid was very knowledgeable and spoke very well and proud of what she was exposing to us. The take away for us was be prepared for all weather conditions
