Just at the outskirts of the city of Abuja is the large monolith rock "The Zuma Rock". As you drive along the major high way, you cannot miss this beauty of the rock. Its distinct from other rocks around it. its distinct feature is the human face imposed on the rock as you approach.

Gurara Water Falls

As you arrive at the waterfall, the beauty is so captivating as you begin to hear the sound of the water cascade, a few meters away from the parking lot. Enjoy the natural view of the fall, capture those imaginations as they come to you upon seeing the fall. Take a descent to the base of the waterfall and enjoy bird watching activities as well as a hike to the fall (depending on the volume of water). You definitely want to sit out and commune with nature in a quiet scenery while you watch the water bash the rocks. Get on a boat and explore further the beauty and magnificence of Gurara waterfall.

Aside from being overpriced (an activity you can hire a car from hotel & do on your own). Assigned driver was good. Went out of his way to please. Intern guide was caring but too shy to be effective. Had to pay extra money to climb down to the falls. Climbing back up is not for the faint hearted. Overall a memorable experience.

It was a wonderful experience...the view was relaxing and exhilarating. The fall is beautiful from the top and awesome at the bottom. The feel of the water is on the body is refreshing. I love everything about it. Will surely come back again and again😍😘🤗

It is a great place to hang out for a picnic or just to enjoy nature. Motley Travels made my trip remarkable though I went with a group of complete strangers. They had fun & engaging activities.
