  Excellent tour with an excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable guide, Chris. He knows everything about Guyana! We visited all the main sights in Georgetown and had a tasty lunch in a nice cafe. He also took on board my wishes, like visiting one of the local markets and tasting some unfamiliar fruits. I would recommend this tour to all first-visitors to Georgetown.

You have helped, beyond words, for me to come full circle as a native-born Chinese-Guyanese who moved to Canada at 3 years old, to finally return to visit my place of birth at 67 years old!   We had a wonderful city tour with Chris yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and all the sights we were able to see. Our guide Chis was so knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. He was also adept at helping us avoid the rainy periods by doing museum visits during the downpours. The lunch was delicious at a local eatery full of locals. The crowds were a sign of good quality and tasty food. My favourite part was seeing the manatees in the park and watching out for birds. This tour provided a wonderful background to our knowledge of the county and the history. Highly recommend wanderlust tours.

  This morning we had a wonderful tour around Georgetown and our guide Chris was so welcoming and knowledgeable. Every detail was considered from umbrellas for the odd rain shower to refreshments and bathroom stops. We got to see a large part of Georgetown including 2 museums which provided a great backdrop whilst learning more about the history of Guyana. A stop at Guyana National Park provided the opportunity to look for wildlife and feed manatees. The tour also included lunch which made a great stop and was a chance to sample some local cuisine. It is clear that Chris loves his job and that was reflected in his enthusiasm to share all he knows about Guyana and answer any questions we had with detail. 10/10 experience and I would recommend to anyone visiting Georgetown, especially if it is your first time in the country.

  We had an absolutely wonderful private tour around Georgetown, Guyana with our guide, Chris. From the moment the tour began, Chris made the city come alive with his knowledge, friendliness, and passion for sharing the history and culture of the area. It felt like exploring the city with a local friend. A highlight of the day was lunch at Beacon Café, a charming local spot with great food and warm hospitality—such a perfect way to experience authentic Georgetown. And to top it all off, there was even a special surprise at the end… I won’t ruin it, but it made the experience truly unforgettable! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Georgetown. • A Day on the River

  A fun way to experience the Essequibo River and Bartica. Great choice for entertaining visitors in town! Even on a rainy day it was fun, and the waterfall at the end was the highlight.

  We took the Guyana's City Center Tour with Lunch experience with Chris and had a great time. We explored multiple locations in the city including two museums and enjoyed the information we were provided as well as the lunch and a few surprises. Overall it certainly was a very enjoyable first impression of Georgetown and we highly recommend both Wanderlust and Chris.

  We had a great time on this tour and got to see many places around Georgetown during our short time in Guyana. Our tour guide, Cherry Ann, was the absolute best! She was nice and personable, and really knew her Guyana info. She made our tour great and we would absolutely recommend.

  Lovely things to be bought at this market. There are some friendly people around....and thank god for them , but there are also the bad bunch. Don't venture to this place alone as a visitor go with a person from there. Remove all jewelry and hold on to your wallet and handbag 👜 or else you will be cring at the end of your visit.
