Bulguksa Temple
A jewel of Silla-era Buddhist architecture, Bulguksa Temple is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and one of Korea’s most revered temples. Originally built in the 8th century, the temple complex showcases stunning architectural harmony between nature and design. Visitors can admire iconic structures like Dabotap and Seokgatap pagodas, and intricate stone staircases that symbolize the path to enlightenment. Set amidst pine forests and lotus ponds, Bulguksa offers spiritual peace and timeless beauty.
Yangdong Folk Village
Step back in time at Yangdong Village, Korea’s largest and most well-preserved traditional village designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nestled among scenic mountains and gentle rivers, this centuries-old village embodies the Confucian ideals and class structure of the Joseon Dynasty. With over 160 hanok-style homes scattered across the hills, some still inhabited today, visitors can stroll past tiled rooftops, ancestral halls, and ancient academies. Surrounded by nature, Yangdong offers a serene, immersive look into Korea’s aristocratic past. (Lunch time at own expense is included)

Great tour and would highly recommend. The tour does a great job with showing the major historical areas of Gyeongju and are given enough time to explore our selves. Our tour guide , Sophie was knowledgeable and friendly.

Beautiful sites to visit, classified as UNESCO heritage. Wonderful to see the bridge and lighted temples in Gyeongju at night! Our Wing Wing companion was adorable, always smiling, professional and gave us very interesting information!

Wingwing was a great tour guide! She gave us all the necessary information prior to starting our tour and made sure we were comfortable, had all our questions answered, and was very clear with the schedule for the day. Although we had a larger group, she was very patient and organized. She also gave us opportunities for great photo spots. My favorites were Daereungwon Tomb Complex and Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond. I highly recommend the tour with Wingwing and we were able to see so much in one day. She was geat!

Tour was great. Only issue is that the tour is listed as 8-10 hours, but it actually took a full 12 hours.

This is one of the worst tours i have ever done. *the coach was old and noisy and the air conditioning was not effective, especially in the back few rows of the bus. *it was a dual tour conducted in Mandarin and English. The Mandarin tour guide was very loud. She definitely did not need a mic and would not stop talking it was very inconsiderate given that half the bus could not understand her shoutings. *there was only one place to have lunch. It was called a restaurant, but we had to take our shoes off before entering so remember your socks and maybe pack a lunch. *on 2 occasions people were 10 minutes late. This is a risk with large tour groups containing inconsiderate people. *we joined the tour at Busan train station at 9:50 am we then spent the next hour picking up other tour passengers before leaving Busan.
