  Had a great experience with Dô and Chánh as our tour guides. They prioritized safety and took their time exploring and explained all the sights. I highly recommend Odyssey if you’re looking for a more relaxed, quiet and mature vibe of doing the Ha Giang loop.

  3 day 2 night tour in Ha Giang First of all, very stunning views. That’s the highlight of the tour. I highly recommend Nhat as a easy rider, he is experienced and safe even tho I don’t have the knee or elbow guard like some of the other groups, I felt very safe Most the the guides do not speak much English but they try their best to communicate with you. Like using simple English like “ready”, “okay”, “video”, “photo” to prompt us on the look outs We have multiple coffee stops (1 stop every 15-25mins), some roads can be bumpy but manageable with the rest stops. I saw there are other groups with very big passenger, so if you are concerned if the 110cc bike can accommodate big passenger, yes they can take up to passenger up to 150kg If you don’t like party or noisy group, I would recommend Odyessy Ha Giang loop tour. Food wise is very simple Vietnamese food; coffee stops I would recommend sugar cane than coffee cos the coffee is not authentic Vietnam coffee and mostly diluted with milk.   This was my favorite part of Vietnam! I joined the 3 day 2 night tour and had a blast!! I don’t know where to start. Our tour guide Tom was excellent! He answered all of our questions and made it easy to understand what we were doing each day and also excited for it too! He had amazing energy and was filled with so many smiles and jokes for everyone. One of the resorts we stayed in was gorgeous! The food was amazing and we got to each and drink great food too. I recommend the banana pancakes or beef pho noodles for breakfast. All the drivers were super kind and knowledgeable about the area. I felt we got a truly local culture experience from all eating every meal at the same time to learning how giving kids money who aren’t at school discourages them from going to school. The guides were super sweet and fun as well. One got a water-gun and battled those who wanted to participate. Now this trip wouldn’t have been what it was without my driver Sính Xe Cty. He was the sweetest person I ever met. Every stop he helped me put on and take off my helmet and we would give each other high fives before each ride. He bonded with the locals and I felt super safe behind him. He’d help me get great videos of my friends and smiled when it was our turn for a picture on the bike! I was able to sit in the back hands free for a lot of the time even though i was often holding a camera lol. I couldn’t recommend him, Tom or any of the other drivers on our trip more. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

  I spent two weeks researching different tour companies because there are so many on offer and I wanted to avoid the big party hostel tours. I am so so happy I chose Odyssey!! Firstly the hostel itself is very nice and I would recommend staying the night before as it makes the trip that much easier and the private rooms were excellent. My easy driver for the trip Chau Hanh was an absolute pro, extremely friendly and also an incredibly safe driver. Our tour guide Tom was amazing and went above and beyond for us during the entire three days. Every homestay we stayed in was high quality and the food was top notch at every point. I would 100% recommend this tour, best organized tour I've ever experienced!!

  We did the Ha Giang Loop with Odyssey Tours and had a brilliant experience overall. Everything was really well organised from start to finish. The hostel was clean, the staff were lovely, and the food was consistently good. We booked private rooms each night, which was definitely worth the small extra cost for a bit more comfort after long days on the road. The group size was ideal (max 12 people), and as three Irish people in our 30s, we were glad to be with a similar crowd – it made the whole thing really easygoing and social without feeling like a party tour. I rode with Tom, who was also the group leader, and he was genuinely one of the nicest guys we met in Vietnam. He ran everything really well. I felt completely safe on the bike the whole trip. All the drivers were great fun as well. The bikes were in good condition, everything ran smoothly, and there were plenty of breaks so we never felt too uncomfortable during the longer stretches. The accommodation throughout was really solid, and the food was consistently good at every stop. The scenery speaks for itself – easily some of the best we’ve ever seen. Couldn’t really fault anything. If you’re thinking about doing the loop, we’d definitely recommend going with Odyssey.

  We just finished a 3-day, 2-night Ha Giang Loop tour with Odyssey, and it was honestly one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. We were three friends in our early 30s (a couple + a friend), and our main priorities were a small group, no party vibes, and private rooms rather than hostels. Odyssey ticked every box perfectly. From the very start, everything was seamless. The accommodation in Ha Giang before the tour was fantastic—great facilities, a beautiful swimming pool, a pool table, and a really comfortable private room. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for the whole trip. On the first morning, our guide Tom introduced us to the team, and we immediately felt we were in good hands. The drivers were all professional, safe, and attentive throughout the journey. My driver Cháu Ian was especially thoughtful—always checking I was comfortable, had enough water, and was enjoying the ride. The itinerary itself was perfectly paced. We never felt rushed or overly tired—there was a great balance between riding, sightseeing, and relaxing. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the regular stops for coffee and rest at local spots were a highlight in themselves. We also loved the activities along the way—swimming in waterfalls, enjoying incredible local Vietnamese food, and staying in beautiful homestays. The first night was at a stunning eco-retreat, and the second was just as lovely. Both had very comfortable beds and a peaceful atmosphere, which made a huge difference after a day on the road. What really made the experience stand out was the group size and vibe. It was a small group (around 10–12 people), and everyone was there for the experience rather than partying, which is exactly what we were looking for. Safety was clearly a top priority throughout, there was no risky driving at any point, and we always felt secure. The price was also well worth it. While I can’t remember the exact cost, it was in line with other tour companies, and honestly, worth every single penny for the experience we had. I honestly couldn’t recommend Odyssey more. If you’re looking for a well-organised, scenic, comfortable, and authentic Ha Giang Loop experience without the party scene, this is the company to go with.   Odyssey provided the best tour ever! Everything ran so smoothly, we had plenty of much needed breaks on the road each day, and the excursions were amazing. The food at every meal was delicious, nutritious, and had lots of variety. Safety was at the top of Odyssey’s priorities. I felt safe at all times and also felt that my driver and every other driver bended over backwards to make sure we were all safe and cared for. My driver Chung was so sweet, caring, and was an excellent, safe driver. I fully trusted him. Highly recommend the Ha Giang Loop with Odyssey!

  I 100% recommend doing the tour with Odyssey! I always felt safe and taken care of! The drivers are all very caring and picked great spots to visit. Also the accommodations where we stayed were very nice and the food was so delicious. All in all a life changing experience and a small adventure. Thank you Odyssey Team!
