Damlatas Caves
The Damlataş Cave in Alanya is not only an impressive visual spectacle but also subject to a widespread belief that its distinct air is able to cure asthma.
The structure, collapsed as a result of lightning stroke and built by Alaeddin Keyqubad I in the first half of the 13th century, was reconstructed by Suleiman the Magnificent by using old materials. The building known as Alaeddin or Kale (Castle) or Orta Hisar (Middle Fortress) Mosque, is dated to 16th century by its plan, structure type, shape of dome and arch and stone and wood craftsmenship.

5.00We went on 2 trips, one to Manavgat and one to Alanya. The guides who accompanied us were Ugur and Murat. They were very friendly, knowledgable and professional and made the trips fun and memorable. The best guided tours I have been on in Turkiye. The cost for both trips was really reasonable. The Manavgat tour was from 1.30pm until 8pm and the Alanya tour was 10am to 6pm but because we wanted to spend more time in some places they did not mind and gave us extra time on the excurions because we wanted to go shopping in Alanya. At the hotel the tour representatives were Dilara, Ibrahim and Ferdi. They gave us all the information about the tours and were really helpful and gave us lots of time explaining the trips and giving us really good advice about the activities on offer. They are a friendly family run business and actually made us feel so welcome in Turkey and answered all our questions and queries. We will definitely look out for this company if we come to Turkey again. Thank You to everyone at Cankat Turizm and a special Thank You to Dilara. You made our visit to Turkiye very special.

5.00My son and daughter and I participated in a cultural tour of Alanya Castle, orchards, and Dimçayı River. It was a wonderful and fulfilling trip; we saw many beautiful places, and for the first time, we ate oranges and loquats straight from the tree...Thanks to Mr. Uğur, he climbed the tree and personally picked the fruit for all the guests on the tour 😊. We sat peacefully by the Dimçay river in a family atmosphere, listening to the sound of rain, and relaxed; the fish we ate there was fantastic. That evening, everyone returned to their hotel happy and satisfied. We would like to thank Mr. Uğur and his brother Mr. Murat for everything. We would also like to thank Ahmet Bey and Atakan Bey from Cankat Tur, who provided us with opportunities for water sports and diving in the following days.

He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history and local culture, making every stop along the way fascinating. The tour was perfectly organised, comfortable, and full of great insights you wouldn’t get on your own. 5.00We booked a alanya city tour with this travel company and modern saraylar. Ugur was very kind, polite and respectful, full of energy and supportive. He made us feel safe travelling and Exploring this country as sole women travellers. Ugur made sure to include our meals and even paid for our chai, he showed us the best spots of alanya and the tour did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with Ugur himself, you will not regret it. Thanks for your amazing memories!!!!

5.00Mustafa and his team were very friendly and professional. We went to the dolphin show and did the Alanya City Tour. The dolphin show was very spectacular and well executed! The Alanya City Tour was an amazing experience from beginning to the end. We took the cable car to go and visit the castle and a 780 years old mosque in where we prayed. The view from there was stunning! We then went for lunch in a very nice place above waters and finally went fruits picking and tasting in a fruit garden. Really enjoyed both outings and can only recommend Cankat Turizm!

5.00What can I say about these guys! They were definitely the highlight of our stay in Alanya. From the very first interaction at the Bera hotel they were professional and not to pushy when it came to showing us what they had available. We did paragliding, shooting range, the boat tour and we had a private tour of Alanya on Jumuah where they took us to places we wanted to visit and tailored it according to what we wanted to do. The communication was excellent and professional and these guys really made me and my family feel at home. They would always make time for us and sit with us whenever we saw them. They literally went above and beyond and arranged immediate transport to the hospital when my Son fell ill. They assist you in many things, exchanging of money, SIM cards , transfers whatever you need! Tunahan took me to exchange money out of his own accord and didn't even charge me for the ride! They're prices are good and the organisation of all the excursions is exceptionally great. I would definitely recommend these guys! It's a family run business and they are all genuine people! Special thanks to Tunahan, Mustafa and the driver Nabil! For making mine and my family's stay very pleasant, these guys are truly of high character & will truly be remembered for the way they were with us throughout our trip. If I ever go back to Turkey I would definitely use these guys again!
