Great way to tour the sights. We were able to get around easily with our bikes. Guide was very knowledgeable.

The tour was great. Loved cycling around seeing the sights of Ayutthaya. We had two excellent guides who got us around the roads safely. Our main guide was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. She took us to various rest stops and let us get drinks and try some foods at her cost without any pressure at all on us to purchase anything. Made my daughter feel special on her birthday. Bikes were good quality and well maintained. Would definitely recommend.

The prices are almost the same as in France, and we had booked four bicycles, two for adults, and two for children aged five and nine. When we arrived, the smallest bike was too big for my daughter, so we finally rented three bikes, but the owner, a Dutchman, who has this business, just to do business, he does not care about tourists and customers, asked us to pay the same rate for three bikes as for four. According to him we resonate per person and not by rented bike, and as my daughter climbed behind me We paid almost 5500 baht, which corresponds in euros to 125 €! Not very nice, not a merchant, and the worst part is that he insisted that we pay in cash and absolutely did not want us to pay by credit card. As a matter of principle, we paid by credit card...

Nice half-day (3.5hr) tour through the inner city tempels. Child Seats available and good quality bikes. Guide takes good care and speaks good english. Despite the nice tour we found it heavily overpriced.

Bella was an excellent guide. I felt safe cycling the streets. She took us to the best sights and kept us hydrated in the heat.

The bike tour was surprisingly refreshing, as the light breeze made it cooler than if we had to walk around. I think the best way to visit Ayutthaya should be on a bicycle! The tour guide was also very instructive, both in navigating us on the bicycle ride as well as telling us about the historical facts and cultural-religious narratives concerning the site visits.

Great guide who speaks fluent English and has studied tourism and has a good knowledge of the cultural history of Thailand.

The bike tour was a perfect way to see and learn about Ayutthaya ruins up close in a small group. We arrived by train (45 min) from Bangkok and walked up the road to the time tour company. We met one other couple and also our guide Bella, who was excellent! She taught us some basic bike safety hand signals and off we went. It was a very warm day and she stopped several times to provide water. Our first stop was to load the bikes onto a water taxi and cross the river to the old city. It was awesome! We saw an older functioning temple, several of the ancient Wats and Chedis and Prangs. Bella taught us a lot of history which was great. An advantage about bikes is you could see so much more than by vehicle. We were able to ride through parks and even saw a water monitor crawling out of a canal. We felt very safe on the bikes as Bella was able to negotiate traffic well and keep us on mainly quiet roads. If you visit, definitely consider the bike tour. It was a highlight of our trip!

I would recommend a guided trip to explore Ayutthaya. With the ruins being spread out over a large area a bike was a great way to get around and see multiple sites and this tour got 5 stars. We had been in the city for a day and tried touring ourselves. After being a little overwhelmed with where to start we decided to book this bike tour. We have two children under 13 and Boong our guide was great. As a teacher she was able to communicate clearly with us and our children about the culture, history and what we were passing. We biked almost 8 km and saw many sites, tasted some market treats and had a short stop for drinks midway through. Everything on the tour is provided for, entrance fees, ferry ride, drink break are all included. You will pay for nothing extra. We left feeling great about the experience we had. Both children and adults learned more than they ever would have trying to do the city on our own. Thanks to Boong our trip to Ayutthaya felt complete after this fun, adventurous and educational day in the city.

Boond was fantastic, really knowledgeable about the history and with amazing English. We were able to ask her anything and we had some great Conversations. Cycling in Thailand is different to the uk and the traffic really looks out for bikes so even though we had to go over a very busy bridge/dual carriageway we felt safe. I would say that you needed to be confident on a bike, although I think that Boond would be able to adapt the route depending on the party she had. She told us that she had 11 people the day before us, there was just the two of us. She absolutely made the tour very enjoyable and interactive and bought us drinks at the 4th stop which we hadn’t expected as well as a traditional Thai delicacy of pancakes and sugar cane yum! She saw us later at the station and came over to check we were ok and had managed to book our return to Bangkok. A really lovely kind lady.
