  Thank you so much for such a great day exploring Delhi! Had I been alone I would not have had any idea where to go, or the slightest idea of how to get to all the places we went to! Sammy was such a joy to spend the day with and is so knowledgeable about the city and the culture. Would totally recommend to anyone visiting the area.

  Sammy was an amazing tour guide!!! She was not only knowledgeable about the sites we visited but also very kind to talk to and ask questions to.   We had two days of touring with Sanjeeta, who is fantastic! She planned great itineraries and she was wonderful to talk to. The foodie tour was delicious, with small dishes from iconic food shops, interspersed with sights of the market and enough walking to make space for the next treat! Highly recommended.

  Sammy was by and far the best guide we had during our entire experience in India. The entire time we were with her felt like a friend showing you their favourite parts of their hometown. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing experience in Delhi, showing us amazing street food, teaching us Hindi, sharing insights into her culture, and evening helping us order takeaway from a local favourite. I feel confident in saying that Sammy is the best guide, and friend, you can find in Delhi

  Our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers) from Denver, Colorado had 2 wonderful half-day tours in Old Delhi with Sammy from Women for World. We were very happy to give our business to a female tour guide and an organization that supports social justice and gender equity. Sammy was fun, professional, experienced and eager to answer our questions and share her knowledge of Delhi and India. We learned about history, culture, food, religion, geography, and social issues in the region. All the experiences (walking tour, street food tasting, rickshaw ride, fruit and nut market, stepwell, Sikh temple, India Gate) were engaging for our whole family. Would highly recommend this guide and organization.

  I want to state that I am a travel professional . I design travel for a living , I take tours, have experiences in order to share them with my clients . This experience was quite possibly one of the best tours I've received since 2021 . This was what I consider it to be a very last minute booking and they were very gracious to accommodate me. I also only had 5 hours before I took my flight and I had realized I didn't really see enough of Delhi, I was intentionally going to skip out on the old city. When the company, and then later, my guide asked me what I wanted to see, I left it in their hands. I told them whatever they believed would be the most important experiences, I was ready! I found the city to be very overwhelming and I literally wanted to do everything and nothing in those 5 hours lol My guide was Sammy, and she didn't feel like a guide! She felt like a local who happened to bump into me at my accommodation and invited me to join her for a walk around lol. She was very informative without being dull . She shared some really great fun facts with me and even pointed out places and buildings that are almost always overlooked by not only travelers but also locals . She even told me what a very specific chicken curry dish was that I had had that no other Punjabi I had traveled with knew what it was... AND SHE KNEW, how did she know? lol It was Afghani chicken curry that I had in, What would be considered the middle of nowhere Punjab. I was afraid I would never have that dish again and now I have the recipe , thanks Sammy! She knew everyone and everyone knew her, even this man who was selling this small novelty piece of art. He wanted to charge me 500 rupee, I would have been fine with that, but Sammy knew he charges way more than most people and she told him "you know me! You see me all the time, why can't you just lower the price?" In a city of 33 million plus, she knew so many people and even a luxury hotel gave her permission to show me around their beautiful cafe. There were moments that I forgot she worked for a company, she didn't have a flag, no umbrella, no signage. Just her mint green hair was the only way I could spot her in a crowd of 400,000 plus lol. She knew where the best views were in places that felt like we weren't allowed to be . She also didn't treat me like a tourist , even while very distracting things could be happening around us, she didn't treat me like a baby or like she needed to hold my hand and I really appreciated that , she knew I can handle myself . It really felt like I had connected with a new friend and she was showing me the best of her City. She even took me to a part of delhi that I would never have gone to on my own nor would I have ever requested it... And it was such an incredible experience, I had some of the most unique foods I've ever had, and I'm sad I'll probably never have those foods again until I go back to Delhi. Thank you so much to the team for such an incredible experience. I can't believe how much I saw, experienced, and tasted in only 5 hours... It didn't feel rushed at all

  

  

  

  

  

• Amazing Tour and the Best Guide!

  My parents and I went on a full day tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. Our tour guide was Sanjeeta (Sanjee). She was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! I couldn’t recommend her more, so if you have the option to pick a tour guide go with Sanjee. She was incredibly informative about the history of old and New Delhi and being a local was able to share some personalized tidbits based on her own experiences. It was like visiting a friend and they’re showing you around where they live. She took us to great stops in Chandhi Chowk and was able to give both historical and contemporary context for the places we visited. I brought my parents, in their late 60s, with me and Sanjee was very accommodating to their mobility needs. She took excellent care of us. If you want to go on a great tour with someone who knows the hidden gems and special things to ask for I couldn’t recommend this tour or Sanjee more!

  Very good tour! Sanjeeta adapted the tour to our wishes, was knowledgeable about Delhi and its history, and showed us places we would have never seen without her. It felt like we were spending the day with a friend, fully at ease. Highly recommend!

  Best tour in Delhi! Sanjeeta was more than just a guide, felt so natural that it felt more like a friend we could ask anything to. Also helped us very much with a telephone card. I highly recommend it!! Top!!
