We are a family-run business providing a high-end sailing experience on traditional Dhow sailing boats. We are proudly Tanzanian-made with a focus on sustainability.
Our trip starts in the morning from Kendwa beach, sailing out and straight over the sea ahead of us towards the neighbouring island of Tumbatu. Given proximity we will have a short transfer over and reach Tumbatu after around 45 min. We will anchor in a tranquil spot for you to take your first jump into the water to enjoy some swimming and snorkelling. During that time our team will prepare a variety of snacks and fruit for you to enjoy afterwards. You can lounge on deck, enjoy the views together with some cool drinks.
We will then continue our journey towards a second snorkel nearby, which offers again possibility for swimming and snorkeling. Tumbatu is well known for being less frequented by tourists and a peaceful environment with a wonderful reef. We will start our sail back to Kendwa shortlz before lunch.

Tumbatu Island
You will be able to swim and snorkel at the Reef in front of Tumbatu Island. We have several beautiful spots where we can anchor the boat and you can explore the underwater world. Since Tumbatu is less frequented then other places around Zanzibar, you will find this to be really peaceful place with hardly any other touristic boats. We will also have a break for some lounging and relaxation on the boat and for you to enjoy some drinks, snacks and soak up the beautiful nature around you.

5.00Morning snorkeling tumbatu great despite the Covered weather. The short walk on the beach, then the dive interrupted by a big shower. During this time the crew had prepared the samosas,chapitas and fruit. He also held out a tarpaulin to keep us dry, and a second snorkel! A lot of pretty fish! And in addition, a big thank you to the 3 captains Sultan, Simon and Mendwi for their sympathy and for the Mood they set. Dancing, singing on the boat! Beautiful morning despite the rain! We recommend this tour!!!! Very good!!!! Sylvie and Thierry 🤩🥰

5.00Great tour with a traditional Dhow to the island Tumbatu to snorkel and relax. Everything was perfectly organized and we had a very private and pleasant trip. We saw a lot of sea life and so many star fishes. No baiting of any fishes, everything just natural. We have got a lot of photos, professional snorkeling equipment, delicious dishes and beverages and a wonderful time. Thank you so much for the great atmosphere, Asante, Hakuna Matata.

5.00It was an excellent half-day excursion and the highlight of our Zanzibar vacation. The friendly crew of three made the experience like a paradise. They were very happy, kind and relaxed. The boat was very exotic. We started on the water before 9 am after they had picked us up in Stonetown. The weather was sunny, calm water and the place was not crowded. They took us to the snorkeling spot where we saw lots of pretty fish in the coral reef. They cut the fruit for our lunch as we were snorkeling, so it was really fresh. There were plenty of snacks as well. Coming back to the main island, they put up the sail. It was a beautiful sight to see the full sail in the wind.

5.00Hi. The weather was beautiful, raining, sunshine, windy and quiet. We became all. 😁 The Boat and the crew was very good. We enjoyed every minute o the boat and the snorkeling place was amazing. The Sailingboat very authentic. This was the best trip in our 3 weeks. Thanks to the professional crew. 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 We will book another trip again when we come back. Asante sana
