The Third Tunnel

■DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) The 3rd Invasion Tunnel. This is walking course into the tunnel. Take your step into the 3rd tunnel which is one of thrilling tunnel as close to 1.95 meters high, 2.1 meters wide and 1,635 meters long. It was thought to be more threatening as an invasion tool than the 1st and 2nd Tunnels.

The tour by PLK Travel was led by SJ, a retired army officer with a great deal of relevant experience and a friendly disposition. Because of my father’s military service in Korea in 1950 and ‘51, I am more than average aware of details of Korean War history. SJ did an exceptional job of presenting the most relevant aspects of that history to provide context for the tour. His presentation was accurate without being boring or dry, and was keyed to each stop on the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone seriously interested Korean history and its continuing importance today.

Our guide, SJ, was very knowledgeable and really made this tour enjoyable. Got to see many spots and didn't feel rushed at all. I learned a lot and would definitely do this again when the weather is better

SJ was phenomenal! He gave such a wonderful tour and provided such a fun experience. I learned so much about everything. SJ provided insights and information when i asked multiple questions about the tour. I will ldefinitely be recommending this tour to others!

Really great tour. Ends about 3pm and doesn’t feel rushed. Hit all of the spots that I wanted to see.
The Host Eddy was very interactive and knowledgeable. The tour was amazing and should be high priority in Seoul.

Eddie is the most competent guide, he served in the DMZ so he knows what he's talking about. I understood the passion he gives every time, making know other the story of his country and the Korean dream, making me understand the situation clearly, and for this i say that to do the tour with him is the Best thing you can do.

Eddie is a highly knowledge guide, and led our group through the history of the Korean war and subsequent events relevant to the DMZ. He led our tour in English and brought in his personal experience from his time stationed there. Even with only a half-day tour, Eddie ensured we understood the big underlying events, but with a personal touch that made our tour enjoyable!
