The Third Tunnel
■DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) The 3rd Invasion Tunnel. This is walking course into the tunnel. Take your step into the 3rd tunnel which is one of thrilling tunnel as close to 1.95 meters high, 2.1 meters wide and 1,635 meters long. It was thought to be more threatening as an invasion tool than the 1st and 2nd Tunnels.

5.00Glad I opted for the half day because it was more than enough time to see everything of note. SJ had a lot of good info and was a great guide; he’s seen real action and his stories are pretty amazing. But you’ll have to ask him separately, he doesn’t go into it as part of the tour. Overall it was a well organized tour. Would definitely recommend. A few things to note: sometimes it can be a bit hard to understand everything, so just keep that in mind if you tend to have trouble interpreting accents. Also note that the 3rd Tunnel portion can be a bit of a workout on the climb back up if you’re in poor shape. There is plenty of time if you want to do it, but bring water with you. The tunnel is also very low and can get uncomfortable if you get easily claustrophobic. No one warns you about this going into it. The salesy stop at the end was actually fine. The soy bean ice cream was yummy and really does taste like nut butter.
