Our journey starts with a visit to an elephant sanctuary that focuses on ethical treatment no riding, no chains, and absolutely no abuse. You’ll enjoy experience with these gentle giants through activities such as making vitamin balls, simply observing them in their natural environment. A delicious local lunch will be served at a nearby restaurant or at the sanctuary itself. After lunch, we’ll head to the Mae Taeng River ,Chiang Mai’s best spot for white water rafting. This 5 kilometer route offers thrilling rapids surrounded by stunning northern Thai landscapes, tropical forests, and towering mountains. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced adventurer, this rafting experience will be unforgettable. Once the adventure ends, sit back and relax on the comfortable ride back to your accommodation in Chiang Mai. Reflect on a day filled with excitement, nature, and new friendships. 5.00The tour was excellent!! The guide was very funny. The elephants looked well looked after. We feed the elephants, we also prepare nutritious food for them. We escorted them to the river. Rafting was quiet and fun.

5.00We had an amazing day with Smile Elephant. Jack was a great guide and host and all ran smoothly. Meeting the elephants was wonderful and felt right. Enjoyed the pad Thai lunch. I was a bit nervous about White Water Rafting - but it was brilliant. The guy in charge of the boat was really fantastic and I was then very happy. It was such fun - I laughed through the rapids. Thank you - memories made 😊 The photos from the rafting were stunning - and free!

5.00It was a fantastic experience. They provided lunch and water, and you can buy cold drinks and beer with cash inside the sanctuary. Addison, our tour guide, was lovely.

5.00Absolutely fantastic experience and rare opportunity to get up close and personal with the most amazing elephants saved from sad circumstances now living the best life they can have being cared for within a beautiful sanctuary. We absolutely loved feeding them, making food for them and giving them a bath in the river. A completely ethical way to enjoy our beautiful animals without having them perform or be ridden. Thank you for a great experience x

5.00Very friendly experience, feeding elephants, washing them, taking pictures. Full information about their lifestyle in a good mood. Lunch very well and white water rafting at the end allows to cool off after half a day in the heat. We were a group of 6 people making the experience pleasant.
