Our guide was Kelvin and he was great. He had a very good knowledge of the Kuching area and it's history. It was a surprise to be taken to some local eateries for breakfast and snacks. A good combination of riding and walking and we even had a ferry ride at the end. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Today I joined a small group for a bike ride with Laura. We started at 9 AM from the Paradesa office and returned at 1 pm full of impressions. There was only three of us. We started off with a hearty breakfast in the form of Laksa Noodles with coffee and also tasted some pastries. We visited India Street, learned about the buildings downtown and then cycled to a market just outside the city centre. Laura explained the different fruits and vegetables to us and then we saw the very nicely organized wet market. Then we cycled through two villages and returned back on the other side of the river, close to the huge parliament building. We finished with a silent boat ride (electric) to reach the Paradesa office. We did not cover a huge distance but learned a lot in the 4 hours that we spent with Laura. Safety first is her rule, and we did feel safe at all times. The mountain bikes were of good quality. I recommend a ride with Paradesa.

Cycling, mountain bikes are of good quality, the escort is very kind, the boat crossing and sunset must be nice (we had waterspouts). But that is not the problem, the ride is very urban, between cars, only a small part is friendly near the river. It’s a shame because the idea is nice but the course not super interesting. As for street food, this means eating a laksa in a small restaurant next to the agency. There are a lot of very good restaurants in Kuching, this one is really not the best of our stay and is nothing extraordinary.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We joined the Sunset Cycling Tour on 19th October with our guide, Mr. Aaron. It was such a fun and enjoyable ride! Aaron’s knowledge and the information he shared along the way were top-notch. It was our first time visiting Kuching, and this tour became one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you to the team for such a memorable experience, highly recommended!

I was hungry and they barely fed us. Most of the promised food never arrived. Others literally came out of a box at a tourist shop and we had to rip the plastic off of it to eat it. I should have had a bigger breakfast before the tour. I was hungry the whole tour. They promised 6 food stops, but 3 of the stops were either closed or out of food so we barely ate. We couldn't bike for the first 3 hours because of military restrictions due to governors birthday parade practice. So it became a walking tour. Had some local cakes at first stop. Second stop was two dishes, but they didn't have Laksa so just one dish. Showed us some local crackers in a box and then made us open the box and rip the plastic to eat them. So not fresh, could easily have plated them to make them seem more authentic instead of passing around a box. Offered us tea or coffee At the second stop. But after he gave us our drinks then he ordered the local drink for himself, which he didn't offer to the tour group, which is odd since it is a local food tour. So we drank our tea and coffee while he had the local speciality drink. We were jealous. 6 food stops in total he told us. Stop 3. Gave us a quarter each of a 3 inch round chicken cake. One person didn't eat theirs so 1 person got seconds. Cakes were 4 RM each ($1). They got 2 for the 7 of us to split. Stop 4. Different bread cakes. Fried.UFO bread. About 3 inches round and pretty flat. Everyone gets one. Dough and palm sugar fried (local donuts). Now I've eaten almost only sugar and am ready for a meal but little did I know that was all the food we would get on this food tour. Finally got on bikes at noon (3 hours into the tour). Bald tires on most bikes and several tires needed air. No cover on the gear so roll your right long pants up or you may rip them when they catch on the gear. Ah but have to walk the bikes to the dock then sit with all the bikes and people jammed together on a cramped 12 minutes on boat. Biked through a suburban village not very interesting. I was looking forward to stops 5 and 6 for food but Aaron, the guide, said the restaurants were closed so the tour was over. We immediately went out to eat. Don't waste your time. This was the lamest tour I think I've ever been on.

It was a very nice tour with our guide Kelvin. He brought us perfectly close to his city. Historically, culturally and especially culinary. It was very entertaining and fun. The wheels and helmets provided were top fine. A great experience to meet Kuching.

Excellent experience abd super guide Aaron. My wife, myself, and our kids3, 5 and 9 did the Bicycle tour. Our 3 year old in a kids Seat the two others had each a bike as they where both experience in bicycling. Allthough some of the Streets was a bit busy I have never experienced so thoughtfull car drivers allowing for a super relaxed tour with many great sights we would t have seen otherwise. Great tips and tricks from our guide for places to eat etc

Nice bike excursion through Kuching had with an international group of people. Aaron, our guide, was enthusiastic and told fun and interesting things. We had nice stops in Kuching. We also walked a bit through the center (more convenient to do this without a bike). We cycled along the Sarawak River, through several Kampungs. And have been to a local market, which was very nice. You see a lot and the roads are doable on a bike. We rode a mountain bike and wore helmets. During the excursions also some local dishes / snacks / fruits may taste.
